Dahvie's P.O.V.
Iris and I have been driving in the car for about 15 minutes. We were on our in to town for the day. I really wanted to show her around, I know she'd like it. Cameron and I would come to his family's vacation house all the time as kids and going in to town was one of the best parts. All the new, small shops around the streets were always so different and cool from the stores at home. They had the most amazing things.
We got out of the car and started our way down the street. I grabbed Iris's hand and our fingers laced together.
"Where do you want to start first?" I asked her as we walked. She looked really beautiful today, actually, she always looked beautiful. Even with the blue hair she hated so much, she was still the most beautiful girl in my eyes. I don't even understand why she thinks she doesn't deserve me. If anything, it's the other way around.
She shrugged. "Let's just head down this street and make our way around. If we see anything we like, we run for it."
"K." I replied. We walked down the street and I ignored the strange looks we got from others. We probably weren't the kind of people they saw walking around the streets everyday.
Iris scoffed. "You think these people would have better manors."
"Exactly." I agreed. I wonder if she was starting to feel uncomfortable.
We kept walking and that's when things got a little iffy. A lady decided it would be a good idea to pull her child close to her and look at us with a look of disgust. I rolled my eyes and kept walking but Iris didn't let it go. She stopped.
"WOOF!" Iris barked at the kid and mother going by. They sped up and basically ran away. She started laughing so hard she had to lean against the building. I laughed along with her. She looked up at me. "I had too Dahvie! Did you see her face?" She started laughing again.
"That was great." I laughed. Honestly, how did I get lucky with such a girl like her? I've never met anyone like her.
She regained herself and took my hand again. "Okay now we can continue." She had this huge grin on her face and it was contagious because I couldn't stop grinning either.

"This can't even be real." I turned at the sound of her voice and she was holding a little crystal heart charm. "Why is this so pretty?"
"I knew you'd find something you loved in this store." I smiled. This was the old antique store Cameron and I always came too. I was surprised it was still open after all this time. It always had the coolest things for the lowest prices.
"Everything here is amazing but this... it stands out. I wonder how old it is?" She said and she studied the small heart in her hands. She was always curious about the smallest things that people don't usually take an interest in. I loved that about her.
"Do you want it?" I asked her.
She turned to me. "You don't have to buy me anything Dahvie. I'm already staying at Cameron's for free."
"We don't mind. Now let me get it for you. You can add it to the bracelet." I smiled.
"I can really pay fo-" I cut her off.
I shook my head. "No, no. I'm buying it for you." I quickly got it from her hand and headed for the counter to pay.
"Dahvie, really. It's okay." She said as she followed behind me. She would never let me do this kind of thing for her but I kind of made my way in to doing it anyway.
