my new family brought me into their house. they have a dog of their own. by the looks a new mother as well. just my luck. Im so happy. they cleaned me up and put me with this german shepherd. I was worried she wasnt going to take me in. sure enouph she left her feeding pups to come see me. she sniffed me, then started to clean me. I took that as a sign of acceptance to her family. she layed down knowing I was starving. I started to feed from her. as I finish feeding I start to feel sleepy and as tired as I was just curled up to my new family and drifted into a deep deep sleep
hours later im awoken from screaming of some man. worried its the humans who shot my mother I run and hide under the couch. sure enouph it was him looking at the pups there pushing my new family around not kindly at all. somehow he knew I was under the couch because he came over put his hand under and grabbed me.
"if I ever catch you stealing my dogs then im calling the cops! you hear me!" he shouts at the kind woman
"you dont even care for them!" she fights back
"I can do what I want when I want and who I want to with!" he pushes her out if his way and slams the front door shut behind him. throwing me in the back of his white ford pickup truck. starts the engine and drives home. afraid of whats gonna happen next when we get there I try to hide.
he opens the back door and grabs me by the throat. throws me down in the barn harder this time. locking the barn door behind him. I lift my head using all the strength I had left and look to see the back gates still open. but for now I shall sleep this pain away
"thank you mother!"
