Since Aurora left for the day, I found myself unable to really focus on anything, my mind constantly drifting back to her and what she might be doing. Since when have I waited around for a girl to get home after going out?
The answer is never, but I couldn't care less about the fact that I'm completely changing, because I'm changing for the better. Aurora is so open-minded and kind, and she makes me feel comfortable around her, enough to tell her anything and be able to really act like myself around her. Over the years, I've built up walls that only open up when people are relentless enough to tear them down. There hasn't been one person that I've really opened up to since my mother died.
Until Aurora.
She waltzed into my life and with all of the things pulling us together, it is impossible for me to try to keep us apart. I'm not sure how I would've dealt with the situation if Chase had disapproved of us, but I know it wouldn't have made my late mother proud of me.
"Maddie! We're home!" Only Lexi calls me that. I grumble under my breath but go downstairs to meet them anyway. Only one out of the four girls actually lives here, but they all might as well move their stuff in judging by the amount of time they spend here. Lexi gives me a hug but the whole time, my eyes are focused on the blonde girl behind her. She's holding two shopping bags in her hand, and when she sees my piercing gaze, she smiles softly and bolts up the stairs.
My eyebrows furrow as I watch her disappear without a greeting. Looking at Lexi for some sort of explanation, I receive a slight shrug paired with a devious grin. The girls giggle, all seemingly included in this inside joke that I'm not a part of, so instead of trying to get anything out of them, I go after Aurora, knowing that she can't lie for shit even if she tried. I enter her room without knocking but don't find her right away, only spotting her when she exits the closet with a blush on her face.
"What was that?" I ask, referring to her quick dash away from me. I can't hide my slight disappointment, considering I had waited around for her all afternoon like a puppy.
"Nothing, I just wanted to put my stuff away." She blushes and looks away from me. I squint my eyes at her, trying to read her expression and figure out what it is that has her reacting like this.
"What did you buy?"
She looks down and bites her lip. "A dress. I didn't want you to see it." She says, giving me the feeling that that isn't all, but I leave it alone.
"Have fun?" I ask, hoping that she didn't and that she would rather have been here with me all day.
"Yeah, I mean I like hanging out with the girls. They're a little... much sometimes though." She smiles and looks at me, her blush starting to fade now. I admire her soft features, green eyes, long eyelashes, and full lips that part when my eyes travel to them. "I missed you." She says and my heart jumps elatedly. I grin and lean forward.
"Princess." I mumble against Aurora's lips, kissing her softly and drawing out a content little moan. I nibble on her lower lip and wrap my hand around her tiny waist, pulling her closer to me. Her chest presses hard against mine and I groan at the feeling of her tits pressed against my chest.
My hands slide down her waist, to her thighs and I pick her up, her long legs immediately wrapping around my waist as I lead us back to the bed. I lay her down gently, her legs still holding me in between them so I press my hips harder, drawing out a loud moan from Aurora who kisses me back enthusiastically.
"Aurora I think you took my ba―oh shit. Sorry." I hear Aurora's friend Kiki say from the direction of her doorway, followed by more footsteps. Aurora freezes and I groan in annoyance from the interruption.
"Ooh, Rory. Didn't know you had it in you." Lexi says, audibly stifling a giggle.
"Had what in her? Maddox?" Faye says while bursting out laughing. Aurora hides her face in my neck in embarrassment and I tug her hair a little bit the make her move her head back so that I can peck her nose softly, earning a smile.
"That's enough guys. Get out." I say, turning towards the girls at the door when Aurora's legs loosen from around me. They continue laughing as they shut the door behind them and leave. I turn back to Aurora who is redder than I've ever seen her and press my lips together to stifle a laugh of my own as she just closes her eyes and pouts.
"Shut up." She whines, not enjoying my amusement.
"Make me." I counter, grinning deviously. Her eyes open and she tries to push me off of her by putting her hands on my chest and using all of her strength. Sadly for her, I don't budge. She pouts again and looks at me with feigned anger.
"That's not what I meant," I say with a cheeky grin.
"I know," She says and pulls my head back down to kiss her again. Every time she does this, makes the first move and takes control, it takes me by surprise because it's as if Aurora is two completely different people when she's around others, and then when she's with me.
The innocent, sweet, kind Aurora is what drew me to her, and I absolutely adore that side of her, but when she wants to try new things, take control, and let go of her inhibitions, just for me, she's exciting and a breath of fresh air. Especially the way that she trusts me implicitly, to protect her, and teach her without judgment.
Lexi could be wrong about what I feel for this girl, but what if she's right?
