After Me.

I'm going to die. Tecuani tightened his already knuckle- whitening grip on his slacks. I'm going to die, right here, in this room. He bit his chapped lip so hard it began to bleed. It was maddening. He wasn't up for leaving the apartment today, let alone to some meet and greet that he and poly had been invited to. Personally, it was crazy to think that Poly was welcome anywhere, but his suspicions were answered for after first seeing the empty fridge at home, then coming here to a buffet. Even now as Tecuani was cursing in silence he held an eye on Poly who was stuffing croissants and other pastries in a not at all incriminating duffel bag.

It's coming- Tecuani jolted out of his seat. there was something going on, he knew it. Something or someone was going to kill him right in front of everybody. It didn't make any damn sense, but he wasn't staying to make it logical. He took a step forward, knees wobbled and he felt light-headed. He couldn't breath. He couldn't breath. He was shot, wasn't he. Tec felt around his pelvis and torso, arms beginning to get more heavy each secound.

No wound, no blood.

He tried to keep walking, but each step was like gravity wanted to pull him to the floor. They're going to kill me. Who? It's too late. He flinched.

"Tec, what the hell are you doing?", Poly angrily huffed through a mouth full of jam on toast, ignoring the crumbs falling in tecuani's hair.

...what?

Tecuani looked around himself. He was on the floor. One knee on the floor and hunched over grabbing and twisting Polybius' shorts. He wanted to laugh at the situation as some onlookers had gotten the wrong idea, but all that came out was a strangled, heavy sob.

Polybius sat down his bag and lifted Tecuani's nest of hair from over his eyes, "Holy shit, you look like shit, you alright?"

He couldn't breath. His eyes were shaky and focused and unfocused and he couldn't control the shivers that ran up his entire body, setting all but his fingertips on fire. The sweat of his palms made him itch. The background chatter of those around them combining together into a streamline of mumbling. He needs-

"To leave.", he gasps, crawling to the corridor doors until he reaches the wall to support him into standing.

He was dying. This was it. He was actually doing to die. He felt his heart thumping in his chest, and couldn't tell if it was too slow or fast, it just made him all the more uneasy as he gasped for air ten more times. I'm dead I'm so fucking dead. He wanted to scream at whatever sadist it was that was chasing him, but whenever he looked there was no one.

"The hell is goin' on with you, beanstock," Poly hoisted the duffel bag over their shoulder,"fine, whatever, we're done here anyway." He glanced at the discomposed man who wasn't following. "Hurry up-"

"I-I can't, I-",It was so hard to see and breath," please..., I can't see.." It's choking me, I'm dying. I'm dying.

Poly patted Tecuani's cheek firmly but carefully," ya don't look well, come on stay awake-"

Poly cursed something Tec didn't catch as he shoved them away suddenly. S-SHOT ME! IT SHOT ME! He couldn't fall over, barely breathing but sobbing and shouting all the same. He covered his left side, he swore he could feel something against his shaky hands like a hole in his side. He started sobbing against the wall.

Poly stared at him from the floor, eyeing the place Tec seemed to think was killing him, there was no blood, but the why he was panicking suggested something was seriously hurting him. Unsure, he gently pulled Tecuani off the wall by his wrist, cupping both his cheeks even as tears and snot rolled down his hands.

He's never had to deal with someone pain disorder before, and Tecuani never seemed the type to have to experience it. He tried to shush away the sobs and little by little, Tec gradually began to calm down. He had barely opened his eyes when he heard it, It's here-

Tecuani lunged backwards and out of Polybius' reach ready to bolt out of the exit when he felt a weight against his back, followed by a deep 'oof'. I'mdyingimdyingimdying-

"Sir, are you ok?"

The stranger patted his shoulder and that was it. Tecuani fell to the ground and vomitted, blacking out.
