She just turned 18 and had found a new wave of freedom. She found friends that loved her and people that adored her presence, but with those people came envious, idiotic, ruthless, and brutal un-empathetic and sociopathic people.

Two months into being 18, our protagonist found a guy. A sweet, caring, understanding person that allowed her to be herself. They had their first night together but unbeknown* to her, he had taken pictures of her naked sleeping body. That same night he did this, he sent them to his football pals and even a teacher or two.

This grew from a small group, to a small gathering, a crowd, a whole school, a whole block, a whole neighborhood, and finally the whole town. This is where we start.

We start with a young woman — still naive and childish in her own ways — driving down a road to her house. Socials blowing up. Phone ringing off the hook.

By the time she pulled into the driveway of her house, the whole world was spinning in slow motion. Her parents were sitting at the dining table in the dining room, in front of the main window, talking, debating, fusing. All at once as she walked through the door she felt heaviness in the air, adding 50 ton onto the weight of the world she was already carrying.

Her parents had always been strict.
No lying.
No failing grades.
Don't get in trouble at school.
Don't make a fuss.
No debating in the house.
No stealing things.
No sneaking out.
No smoking
No drinking.
No drugs.
No pre-marital sex.
No kissing.
No hugging.
No speaking over someone older than you.

So, she knew how bad this was going to be — well she thought she knew — and as she looked over to her parents, both beginning to stand, her tears grew. Swelled. She retreated through her home and kept repeating the same thing.

"Please no. Please no. I'm sorry. I'm sorry."

She soon found herself laying on her bed with her eyes covered. Her mother standing above her like a mountain ready for a landslide that would engulf her in smothering dirt and rocks.

"Were those pictures of you, Tyra."

Tyra, our protagonist, looked at her mother. "Please don't make me do this, not right now."

Despite seeing her angelic daughter in a state of emotional and mental decay, she pried further.

"Was it you?"

With tears now rolling down her cheeks, she nodded. Her through hurting as she tried to hold back the wails of sadness pouring inside her. Then something unexpected. Not a 'I'm sorry this happened to you', not a 'we told you so', not even a stern lecture but something much worse.

Her mother grew the most angered expression Tyra had ever seen and she dragged her off the bed.

"How could you. How dare you!"

She paid no mind to her daughters screams. No mind to her daughters bruises. No mind to her well being. She did not care. Nor did her husband. This mother dragged her daughter out the front door as she screamed and grabbed things. This "mother" slammed her daughters hand in the door until it was out of the way then proceeded to slam the door in her face like Tyra was a robber that broke in and didn't successfully find a way out.

Tyra banged on the door as hard as she possibly could, screaming her lunges out until her throat ached, and her hand hurt worse than the one that got cut from the door slamming on it.

Two hours later, Tyra — barely having a voice anymore — walked down the sidewalk, her hair messy, her clothes dirty, her shoulders aching from being dragged, and her eyes practically swollen shut from crying. Her head hurt so bad she couldn't think straight. Not even when a man in his mid 30's drove up beside her — recognizing her from the pictures sent out by her "boyfriend" — and catcalled her.

She told him to go away. To fuck off. To just leave. Yet he didn't listen. He drove closer. He verbally abused her then tried to get out of his car a good ways in front of her. He chased her and cornered her and grabbed her and hurt her and violated her and videotaped her. It didn't matter how hard she tried to scream, voice or not, for her parents or her brother or her friends or her "boyfriend."

They sat at home, a few not knowing, and her parents not caring. By the time the creep was finished, Tyra passed out. She tried so hard to understand why her parents would want this. Why her parents would kick her out? She broke one rule. She had never broke any other rules. She didn't mean to hurt them so bad.
