Broly X Chirai- Dragon Ball BR: A Dawn of Beginnings

The Quiet Saiyan

Demonic (Yours truly...): Here goes. The first chapter. The start of.... everything.
The bright sunset skies of Planet Vampa reflected on the vast seas of the desert-like planet. The barren plains would always make one seem lost, really. It was searingly hot today- the native creatures tended to hide from the heat.

There was a calming and peaceful atmosphere that resonated throughout the land. At least for today, it was devoid of colossal monsters roaring, spider-like abominations clicking their feet, or any sort of weird inhabitant sneaking up and trying to feast on whoever crossed their territory.

In a nearby cave, though...

There was silence.

Goku stood in his fighting pose, and glared at his new training partner, Broly. Both the Saiyans possessed a serious and stern look as they faced each other in the heat of battle.

Goku was the first to charge, the wind rushing in his face as he threw a punch at Broly. With a quick reaction, Broly blocked it, only to counter with his own a second later. The saiyan quickly evaded, backflipping and getting back into his fighting pose.

Fighting Broly now was much easier compared to when he fought Broly in his full powered Super Saiyan state. Back then, he acted like a murderous devil, craving destruction and destroying everything in his path. But now, he was calm, and fought in a less wild manner. Goku had taught him to keep his composure during a fight, and he was glad it was working. Maybe the Soul Punisher changed him slightly?

Now it was Broly's turn to charge. A green, vivid, aura engulfed him as he charged up an energy wave from his fist. Goku, seeing this quickly used his Instant Transmission, getting behind his opponent's back, and sending a kick. Broly staggered back, and quickly rose to action as he dodged Goku's rapid flurry of punches.

"You've really improved, Broly, now..." Goku smirked as he stopped. "...how about we take it to the next level?"

The ground started to shake, flares of bright yellow surrounded Goku as he let out a yell, his hair slowly turned gold and stood on end. "Now try to face me as a Super Saiyan!"

His eyes now glowing the color of light green, a yellow, flame-like aura surrounded him.

Moments after his transformation, Goku advances rapidly, sending a ki-lanced punch, driving it through Broly's gut. The Saiyan was momentarily stunned by the speed and force of the attack, but before he could react himself, Goku kicked Broly in the face, sending him flying back to the wall of the house he had supplied Broly, Chirai, and Lemo.

Goku, dropping out of his Super Saiyan state, ran to the wall and helped Broly up. No cracks, thank goodness. Bulma made this house out of good material! I think Chirai and Lemo are fine... wait... I forgot... they were sleeping! Hope I didn't wake them u-

"HEY!" Chirai shouted, peeking out from the window and looking quite annoyed. "You two are really noisy, tone it down a little! I can't sleep!" With that, she stormed back into the house, Lemo trying to calm her down.

Goku laughed and apologized, before facing Broly. "You're pretty strong the last time Vegeta and I fought you, but you gotta learn how to evade my back attacks. You did a good job today, though!"

"Thank... you..." Broly said in response, bowing.

Goku returned the bow and placed his two fingers on his forehead, preparing to use Instant Transmission to get back to Earth. "I gotta go now, or else Chi-Chi's gonna get upset. Alright, have fun!"

Concentrating, and locking on to Vegeta's power level, Goku teleported away.

Sometime later:

Broly sat by the lake Bah once was, tucking into his tenth packet of pre-made instant ramen. He sat by, remembering his wonderful times with the beast during his youth.

He had preferred to remember Bah  before his father shot Bah in the ear, ending their relationship.

He sighed.

"Hey, Broly!" Chirai's voice filled his ears as he was snapped back into reality. He smiled slightly and greeted,"Hello...."
She smiled and sat down next to him, admiring the beautiful sunset in front of the two. Before noticing what Broly was thinking about.

"You really miss him, don't you? I wish I could've met Bah."

"That's the past. And as much as I miss him, I'd like to move on."

In an attempt to lift the mood, she sniggers and playfully elbows Broly's rib softly. "Look at how much you ate! That's one hell of an appetite!"

Chirai looked at Broly for a moment. He had changed so much ever since he was out of his father's stern control. Before, he was much more silent and even snapped at her, but seeing him now... happy and not a berserk fighting machine...

It made her glad they came here in the first place.

She knew she was willing to help Broly because she couldn't stand Paragus's ways of viewing Broly only as a weapon. She would do anything for Broly, but how would one girl be able to change the fate of a massive Saiyan with an immense power level?

Chirai wondered, lost in thought and stared at the sky, which started to get dark.

In Freeza's spaceship

Cooler eyed his brother. His three elites of his Armored Squadron, Salza, Dore, And Neiz stayed behind him, not daring to say a word but glanced threateningly at Frieza's force, ready to kill if they had to.

Their size difference was quite clear. Cooler hulked over Freeza in his his fourth form, yet the younger brother was rather undaunted or threatened.

Freeza's composure returned as he faced his brother.
"What brings you here, my dear brother?" Sarcasm rang in every word he spoke. Cooler and Freeza had a strong dislike to each other, despite being brothers.

Their sibling vendetta had lasted for ages. Time and time again, both of them would talk rather lowly of each other. Their armies had heard of them, but now- face to face, it made even Frieza's elites back off with fear at the destruction that could take place should the two quarrel.

They stared in silence at each other for a while, tension ringing in the air. Cooler spoke first, but rather silently, causing the uneasiness to creep in even further.

"I've come for Broly."
