~first love~ CHAPTER TEN annies pov
i wake up in excruciating pain, everything hurts. i look over to my right to see luke still sleeping. i looked the other way to see the time, 11:02. i grabbed lukes arm "luke wake up". he turned towards me "what?" he groaned. "everything hurts" i said painfully. "do you want me to get you medicine?" he replied sleepily. "please luke, and hurry". with that he got up and went downstairs. that's when i got a text from my internet best friend jayden saying "hey annie! i'm coming to maryland! we can meet!" i texted back quickly "wait really?". "yes annie really, we can finally see each other!". i never smiled so fast in my life, with everything going on i couldn't be happier. "jayden this is unreal, i'm going to be meeting my best friend!" i was typing so fast and so was she "anns you have to tell your mom so we can plan everything, i really need to hug you rn". "i definitely will jay don't worry, anything will be done to hug you" i typed excitingly. she stopped texting me and decided to facetime me. while facetiming she was already getting packed for her trip to see me. we talked, laughed, made jokes, made each other excited, and told each other how much we loved each other before she had to leave for a photo shoot. we hung up and she left me feeling so loved and very excited. i never felt the way i do with her with any other one of my friends. i kept thinking to myself was this feeling normal? do i actually like jayden? and if i do..does that mean i like girls? i pushed all those thoughts away because i liked luke so much and i couldn't dare to leave him..and probably end up hurting him, i just couldn't do that to him.
