Stuck in airport love

Chapter 11

"This new game is not going well is it" I said.

"Well maybe not for you but it's definitely going well for me".

"Oh I see how it is".

It started to snow so hard and it all made sense why it was unsafe to leave the airport.

"You look so amazed at all this snow" he said.

"Well like you said earlier i am from California and this is probably the most snow that I'll probably ever see in my whole entire life".

"Well good thing we chose to sit by the window".

"I have to take a picture and send to my parents".

I pulled out my phone and took a picture of the snow.

"Before you send that stand by the window and I'll take a picture of you so your parents can see how much fun you are having on your wonderful vacation to the airport".

I handed him my phone and pointed to the snow and smiled.

"Perfect" he said.

I sent the pictures to my mom and captioned the pictures living it up in the airport.

A few minutes later my mom called me.

"It really is snowing and I'm sorry this trip isn't going planned but it does look like you are having fun in the airport" she said.

"Oh mom it isn't your fault and the snow is beautiful and being stuck in the airport isn't that bad".

"Have you got anyone to talk to or are you hiding yourself in your books like you always do? But it did look like someone took the picture for you did you make a friend".

"No mom I'm not hiding myself in books whatever that means and I've been talking to someone I sat next to on the plane"

"Ohhhhhh is it a boy are you safe?"

"Bye mom I'll check in later"

I hung up the phone.

"So your mom seems protective"

I laughed "ya a little she's just making sure I'm safe and that I'm not hanging out with potential serial killer or someone who is going to hurt and kidnap me. You aren't one of those are you?"

"No I feel if I was I would have pushed you out in the snow and buried you in it".

We started laughing at each other.

"But honestly it's good that your mom is still looking out for you" he said.

"Ya I know and it's also the fact that I'm the only kid in the family that still lives at home and practically doesn't have a life and it's my first time doing anything like this so it's definitely understandable".

"She's means well and is your dad like this also?"

"Ya he is but not as bad he is more understanding I guess like he knows me and why I am the way I am. If that makes any sense?"

"Yeah it does like basically he doesn't really pressure you into doing anything because he understands how you are and doesn't want you to feel uncomfortable when others try to get you to do anything".

"Yes exactly. What about you like I feel like I've been telling you my whole life".

"Well I feel like you probably know a lot".

"I don't know that much but if you don't want to share anymore than you probably have since you know your whole life is out there then it's understandable".

"Yeah it's just even though my life is out there I don't feel like I should be revealing more even though I don't think your going to put it out there it's just I like to keep things to myself".

"No no I totally get it and I completely understand".

He smiled "thank you".
