Author's POV
Student Council Office
Sitting at one of the table that was at the corner of the office with the label 'Secretary' on the table, there was a girl with shoulder length dark brown hair, she was staring blankly at the paper word that she was currently doing. Those paper works are supposed to be in to the principal for a last minute check since it is relating to the upcoming festival of the college itself.
"Jess, Do you want to go for a lunch?"
Said one of her fellow friend but the brunette rejected the offer politely.
"Thank you. I'm not hungry. You go ahead."
The brunette smiled before proceeding with her work though she wasn't be able to concentrate on the work that was laying in front of her now still she tried.
The reason that the brunette react in that because she was thinking of someone, someone who never failed attract her attention. That someone was no other than the Étoile of the campus.
It been awhile since the Étoile last spoke with her and not ever since her encounter with Tiffany Hwang the freshmen of the campus , the star seems to be paying less attention on her since then.
She even stop coming to the Student Council office which the brunette wondered the reason why, was it because of Tiffany that successfully attract the attention of the Étoile ?
Jessica had no idea and she wasn't daring enough to ask the star , herself since in the school boundary she had to remain distance with the girl though they live together since their relationship had to remain a secret in the school and nobody know about it.
"Confessing my love toward her seems to be the most impossible thing to be done...."
The brunette muttered under her breathe before leaning against her folded arm in front of her and slowly she fell asleep without being disturb by other and since the office was in a total silence and only her breathing could be heard.
Flashback
Jung family was once a rich family who a large company in San Francisco, California but the finance started to drop after the born of the Jung family's first daughter and after Mrs Jung passed away giving birth to the innocence baby Jung Soo Yeon who is also known as Jessica Jung Soo Yeon. The father felt hopeless upon the loss of his beloved wife and started to pay less attention toward his only daughter who he claimed that the daughter was misfortune to them and want to disown her.
Being clueless toward the situation that she was facing , Jessica have no idea why her father hate her so much, she would always left alone at home with servant taking care of the little girl.
At the age of 5 , Jessica how to talk and write because of the day care that she was arrange to attend, she even tried to communicate with her father but almost most of the time she receive no respond from her father.
At the age of 7 , Jessica started to attend elementary school there she make a lot of friend but whenever her friend asked about her parent , the poor little girl remain silent or if she can bear with the question , she would run to somewhere that nobody could find her and cry alone.
When the little girl turned 10 , her father would always return drunk and beat her up and even worst his father would cursed her for the reason of her mother's death and also causing the financial of his company being unstable and receive a lot of unlimited liabilities.
Slowly , the girl discovered that the reason her father react in that way because every time he look into her , he always remembered her mother who had passed away and trauma captured him as the girl resemble her mother.
