"Kit!" The voice on the other side sang out for the tenth time this morning.
This idiot.
"I heard you already!" I shouted back annoyingly, as I scanned my bedroom one more time. I was just making sure that I hadn't forgotten anything.
Swimming shorts? Check.
Sunglasses? Check.
Towels? Check.
Yep, I got almost everything I need.
I closed up my bag and walked to open the door. My boyfriend was standing there, staring at me.
"Good morning, my Kitkat." He greeted me with his stupid attractive smile.
"Good morning." I rolled my eyes.
"Here let me get this for you." He reached forward and grabbed my suitcase.
"Hey- I can take it myself."
"No, it's alright." He replied stubbornly.
So persistent as usual.
I sighed and started to follow him all the way to the elevator. I looked pretty grumpy, but in reality, I was excited for this weekend. After a long stressful week of exams, I really could use a break. It was only for two days but it's better than nothing.
"Is it the same beach resort that we went to last time?" I asked, referring to the last term's campus beach trip.
"Hmm nope. It's a different hotel." Ming smiled, once we reached downstairs.
"Ah, alright."
We packed our bags in Ming's car and we got in. Then, Ming started to drive out into the main road.
