Brittney sat on her hospital bed in shock after what George had told her, she was still supposed to be petrified, but, she wasn't, neither George nor Brittney had any idea what was going on. The two just sat in each others presence, Brittney happy that she was no longer in the dreaded place where there was just nothing but darkness and memories, and George, only happy that Brittney wasn't petrified any longer, the two only sat in silence until Fred and Madame Pomfrey burst through the blue curtain in a rush.
"Oh, Merlin," Madame Pomfrey whispered to herself, "How did this happen?"

"It was weird, it was like you were talking to me and with me, but you weren't," Brittney explained to Fred and George, "All that I knew was there was darkness, and memories. I was seeing my past, all the good things that I did and all the mistakes that I made, it was horrible reliving the things I didn't want to relive and remember the things that I tried so hard to forget,"
"Like what?" Fred questioned.
"Well, there was one about Nancy," Brittney said, "I was taken back to the day before I was set to go to Kings Cross station,"
"Brittney," George stated looking at Brittney, "Who is Nancy?"
"She was my best friend," Brittney said softly looking down at her lap, "It was the day before September 1st when I told her I was leaving the next day to go to this incredible new school, that is very far away, we can only stay in contact via letter, because there is no such thing as a telephone where I am going,"
"What's a telephone?" George asked, "I've heard of it, but I don't exactly know what the Muggles use it for,"
"Yeah, I don't really know what is exactly either," Fred stated with a confused expression to match his brothers.
"It's something that the Muggles use for communication, I'll explain it later," Brittney said a roll of her eyes, "But back to the story, Nancy and I, we made a plan to meet up so we can say goodbye before I left for school the next day. But she wasn't there, it didn't show that in the memory but I still remember,"
"Did you ever talk after you left?" Fred questioned, Brittney, nodded her head.
"For a couple of weeks, I think, well, up until she stopped replying. But, don't feel bad for me I'm not sad about it anymore," Brittney said noticing the looks of pity the twins were giving her.
"Okay," George shrugged, "can you explain what a telephone is now?"
Brittney chuckled, "Sure."

It was three days later and Brittney was still cooped up inside the doors of the hospital wing and she was starting to get antsy about it, "Madame Pomfrey," Brittney said to her, "when can I leave? It is getting too quiet in here because Fred and George can't be here during the day and the rest of the people in here are petrified!"
"You will be able to leave once we make sure you are not going to fall back into the petrified state Miss Dursley," Madame Pomfrey explained.
"It has been three days! Three days!" Brittney exclaimed, "Can't you just let me leave already?!"
"Miss Dursley, if you do not fall back into whatever state you were in by tomorrow, you can leave," Madame Pomfrey.
"Okay, thank you Madame Pomfrey,"
"No problem dear." Madame Pomfrey then shuffled into her office.
Brittney sighed, it had gotten boring in the hospital wing. There was nothing for her to do. All she could do was have an intense staring contest with either a petrified student or the wall. Either way, she had lost all of her staring contests so far.
"Oh thank Chewbacca!" Brittney let out when she saw Fred and George walk through the doors of the hospital wing. Fred raised an eyebrow at Brittney's statement not knowing what she meant.
"You need to stop with those Muggle references," Fred said, "they're bloody confusing."
"Well Fred, I guess that you will just have to deal with my Star Wars references," Brittney said, "I am so very sorry."
"Hey, quit with your sass missy," Fred retorted, "also, Star what now?"
"Star Wars, it's a Muggle film, hasn't your father taught you anything?" Brittney asked Fred and poked him in the side making him squirm.
"Quit your bickering you two." George said causing both Brittney and Fred to stick their tounges out at him simultaneously, "That's creepy."
"Well, I see you and Fred do things in sync all the time!" Brittney said, "Why can't I join in on the fun?"
"Because, my dear Brittney," Fred started.
"We are twins," George finished.
Brittney huffed and crossed her arms over her chest, "Well, anyway, Madame Pomfrey is going to let me go later today."
"Finally," George said, "I can't stand it in here. Way too quiet."
"How would you know?" Brittney responded and turned her head to look at George, "Every time you or your idiot of a brother are in here it's loud because of your annoying voices!"
"Which idiot of a brother?" Fred asked, "There are six to chose from."
"Any of them." Brittney said, "Well, maybe except for Percy, but he's never in here so,"
"True," George said, "When can you leave?"
"I don't know probably before or after dinner." Brittney shrugged her shoulders.
"Cool," Fred said, "Okay, we gotta go,"
"Wait," Brittney said, "you just got here! Where are you going?!" Brittney yelled to the boys who were already at the doors of the hospital wing.
"It's a secret!" Fred yelled.
"Of course it's a bloody fucking secret," Brittney said to herself as the boys left the hospital wing, "It's always a fucking secret with those two!"
"Ms. Dursley! Watch your language when you're in here!" Madame Pomfrey said as she walked by Brittney's bed to check on another student.
"I'm very sorry Madame Pomfrey,"
