The Paradox speeds through the uncharted reaches of space rushing to the planet Magnus which we can just about spot, hanging in nothing else but the infinite blackness of the unknown with the rest of the universe far behind them now. Thrice and Roger take the wheel of the ship with Isambard busy on his precious engine, Sproggle uselessly navigating the ship, Lyca just standing there for no real reason, and their robot Sir Squeakalot also wheeling around the ship up to his usual chores.
Thrice:
What is our E.T.A Roger?
Roger:
Four minutes to Magnus Captain.
Thrice:
Does the tracer still point in the same direction Sproggle?
He desperately looks towards his readings and the tracer pointing in the direction of Lavender Castle, even though to him it means nothing.
Sproggle:
It points, somewhere, a lot to the left, and a lot to the right.
Roger:
Straight on again.
Lyca:
He is doing his best Roger.
Roger:
Sometime I'm going to have a lesson with Sproggle to teach him from his left and right. You know Captain, it feels weird that we are just heading into just, the empty blackness.
The rest of the universe is behind them with just as described, infinite blackness in front of them, except for the planet Magnus, a planet on the edge of the known universe. But from right now, it is just a tiny dot in the endless reaches of space.
Thrice:
Magnus is the last planet in the known universe. Who knows what lies deep within the endless reaches of the uncharted space.
Sproggle:
Why can't we explore it then Captain?
Isambard:
Oh Sproggle, if only we had the time to keep on travelling deeper and deeper into never-ending nothingness. My guess is that if we keep travelling we will end up in another parallel universe.
Lyca:
Do you suppose the tracer could be leading us into there? If we keep travelling for long enough we will end up at Lavender Castle.
Sproggle:
But the tracer reads to the planet Magnus Lyca.
Roger:
Sproggle, do you mind if you can give us the run-down the log has on Magnus?
Sproggle:
The log on Magnus?
Lyca:
The information on the planet, stored in the computer banks on your desk.
He scurries through the computer data on his desk.
Sproggle:
The log. Planet Magnus. Oh yes, this is it. The planet Magnus is mostly a long, bleak and desolate planet on the edge of the known universe. There is a drilling mine on the planet, which is where the tracer is leading us to.
Isambard:
Is that all the data that the log shows Sproggle? I worked night and day trying to update the navigational desk, so it has all the latest information on the planet present at that specific time.
Sproggle:
Oh. Sorry, Isambard.
Lyca:
Don't be too upset Sproggle. We'll be arriving on the planet soon now, then we will get to see what the planet is really like.
Thrice:
Look out for a drilling mine sight as we land Roger.
Roger:
I, I Captain.
The ship approaches the baron planet, entering the planet's atmosphere at this point. On the planet, we see a silvery grey monitor and nothing else in the unknown room. We only hear the voice of that Magnus again, so it is him talking. The Paradox flies speeding down from the planet's atmosphere diving from the skies of the planet.
Magnus:
At last. Our guests are arriving. I shall welcome them from their long journey and will receive excellent hospitality.
