New demigod

annabeth POV: "wise girl. wise girl wake up. Annabeth!" I groan and open my eyes

"what is it seaweed brain?"

"wanna go on a date?"

"yeah"

"so I'll collect you at 7:30?"

"yeah". I sit up and smile at him. suddenly there's a knock on the door. I get up and open it to see Chiron.

"is this about a new demigod?" I ask hopefully

"pretty much. I was wondering if you, Percy, nico and Grover could go and find her?"

"of course" I say and he walks off "seaweed brain can you go outside so I can get ready?" I ask.

"Okay. See you in a bit" he says walking away.

Emma POV: Run that's all I can think about Run. I'm running away from home. So I guess I should go over what happened.......

"Emma breakfast is ready!" My stepmother, Annabella, calls. I hate her really I do.

"Coming!" I say, climbing down the ladder of the bunk bed that I share with my 5 year old stepsisters, Ally and Mia, I run into the kitchen and am about to go and sit at the table when someone grabs me from behind

"What do you think you're doing?" Hisses Annabella angrily "you are supposed to get your sisters up, make both the beds and serve us all before you eat!" She snaps

"NO! I am not your slave you #$%&!?℅ *****! (a/n sorry for that. I need to put attitude into some characters and I don't want my character to seem shy and weak like I am) get your own breakfast, look after your daughters! What am I, your maid?" I say with confidence and she looks stunned 'WIN!' I think

"Well someone won't be having breakfast then!" Snaps Annabella, slapping me across the face. I gasp and run up to my room. I pack the little belongings I have and climb out the window onto the fire escape. I climb down the ladder and stop a few rungs down to think. My dad was talking about a camp I was supposed to go to this year ,camp half blood, I climb the rest of the way down and try to figure out which way to go. I'm about to give up hope and go back to the hell I ran away from when someone comes up behind me. I turn around, terrified, and see my stepmother standing there. I scream loudly stunning her, turn and run. All I think about is running now. I'm cold, tired, scared and hungry. Well that's basically the whole thing that comes up to now. I keep running. I have only $10 left. I go into the chipper and buy a diet coke and a bag of chips. I eat quickly and hurry along. I'm down to $6 and I try to find somewhere to sleep. I'm about to settle down in a doorway when a huge thing appears, growling and I scream for help. Suddenly it disintegrates into dust. I back away panicked and end up falling. I see someone walking towards me and start crying

"Don't hurt me please don't hurt me!" I sob.

"We won't hurt you" says a voice. I stand up slowly and take a deep breath

"Who are you and what was that thing?!" I say, frightened. Four people step out of the shadows. Three boys and a girl.

"I'm annabeth and these three are Percy, nico and grover. That thing you saw was a hellhound. And one more thing. You're a demigod" I look at annabeth, confused

"So you mean I'm half mortal and half Greek god?" I say hopefully

"Yes. Come with us to a place safe for our kind" she says smiling at me.

"Okay" I say. And we leave.
