Chapter 16- their friendship is more.

Alexa's pov

I woke up and did my normal morning routine. I put on a black button up shirt, high waisted purple skirt, and heeled ankle boots,with purple thigh high  socks underneath. I brushed and curled my long hair and went to the lounge.

"Hey Alex." Tony said from the couch. I sat down next to him.

"Hey Tony." I said. Hunter and Thor were at the counter arm wrestling, and hunter won.

"Oh,  hey sis!" He said.

"Yes,  hello lady Alexa." Thor said. I laughed at Thor, he was panting like a dog.

"What, cant beat an 18 year old in an arm wrestle?" I asked. He nodded, in defeat. I looked out on the balcony and saw Loki. "I'll be back." I said. Thor grabbed my hand.

"Lady Alexa, thank you for being with him so much. I think you have done him some good. And with the recent death of our mother, I think he needs you." Thor said.

"Oh, I didn't know. Of course I will be there for him, he is my best friend in the entire world." I said as I walked out. He turned to me, and his eyes we're red and puffy. He had tears streaming down his face, when he saw me, his eyes didn't light up like they usually did.
"Hey Alex." He said. His voice was raspy, and he looked like me after a break up. I sat him down on one of the benches.

"Loki, are you ok?" I asked. He shook his head.

"No, I'm far from ok." He said, sobbing at this point.

Loki's pov

I was sitting on the bench on the balcony, with Alex. I was sobbing. My mother, queen Frigga was killed by a frost giant. Before I knew it, Alex was clinging to me. So,  I held her as tight as I could,  in fear I would lose her too. I knew at that point, this woman was the love of my life. I wanted nothing more than to hold her in my arms forever.

"Loki, this is probably terrible timing, but... "She trailed off. I could see the tears forming.

" Alexa, hey, sweetheart. Don't cry. You have nothing to cry about." I told her as I craidled her in my arms.

"Yes I do. What if he doesn't feel the same way about me?" She asked.

"I'm sure he does." I told her.

"Ok because I think I love you."
