Chapter 10

I wake up with a groan, my alarm clock was still on so I stopped it. Almost smashing my phone. Weird. Why am I a bit stronger today? I do my morning routine, the scabs on my face as well as the ones on my stomach are already turned into scars so I don't bother with foundation.

I put on a KISS band shirt that has no sleeves and is gray as well as black jeans. I put on my leather jacket as well as black combat boots, I go downstairs and into my kitchen.

Not realizing that there are people inside my house, sitting on my couch. I look at them and groan. "What now cub" I ask Alejandro, he's sitting on my couch with some of his men. "The entirety of you coming to Rosepine was for business. So I'm your business" he says, "what type of business" I ask and drink some orange juice from the fridge.

"Well, you know that us Bears are the third gang" he says, "I don't look at ranks except for mine" I say. He rolls his eyes, "well, second place is the Ravens. We want you to help us defeat them and make us second" he says. "For how much" I ask, "were not paying you" he says. "Then I'm not helping. You need to have money in order to recruit my gang to kill off another, you can't pay with anything else" I say as if he was dumb. "In fact. We can" he smirks, "what is it" I ask with the most serious face. "The leader is your enemy, Wyatt. The one who put him into the position was the one that killed your father, and after that. The man finished the job by killing your mother" he tells me. I became full of rage, "How are we doing this?" I ask.

"Raiding their Headquarters here, it's by the movie theater" he says with a smile. "When?" I ask, "this Saturday, oh and remember to wear your little get up" he points out. I roll my eyes, "whatever, now leave. I have somewhere to be" I state. They left and I went into my car, I called Jude. "We're raiding the Ravens on Saturday with the Cubs" I state, "how much?" He asked.

"Ohh, no money. Just vengeance" I say, "what happened?" He asked. "The old leader killed my Papa as well as my mother. Find out where he lives. The new leader is Wyatt. Please inform John about this" I say and hang up. I start the car and drive to school.

I'm very much annoyed and angry. I get out of my car and slam the door shut. If anyone looked at me besides Melanie then they would feel my anger. I walked into school, immediately people noticed my anger and stayed away except, of course. Ashlyn and her little minions just had to approach me. She was about to say something but I simply just picked her up by her shirt and set her aside.

I continue walking until I hit my locker where Melanie stands. "You alright?" Melanie asks with a worried face, "no, today is just my day yet it's not. You know" I say. She nods as I get my stuff. I close my locker and we walk to class. Tristen walked in before the bell rang. He took a look at me and looked away.

Now he knows who I am and what I'm capable of. He's under my watch of protection, I know, sounds weird but Wyatt would kill him for interfering. I can't let that happen.

The teacher speaks, "We have a science project, I'll be choosing your partners".

"Melanie, Tristen" he says and I groan. I'll have to be partnered with a stranger who would interfere into my life. "Alanza, Bealia" he says, wait, Bealia! She walks over to me with a smile, I smile as well. She sits down and I immediately hug her. People look at me, even Melanie but I tell her that I'll tell her later.

"Your back. How was the job?" I whisper, "ya, John transferred me here when I arrived back. The job was hard but I got a lot of money for it" she whispers with a smile. Bealia is in the gang, she's one of those members that knows what loss is and she appreciates her life but also keeps bettering herself. She has been in a 2 year long job, I offered to do it but she said that I needed to stay. Which is true.

"So. We're raiding the Ravens Saturday?" She whispered, I nod. "Why?" "It's for vengeance" I simply say. She nods a nod of understanding.

"So, I wasn't paying any attention of what the project is about so do you know what we're doing?" I ask, she chuckles. Then her face goes straight, "I have no idea either" she says. I laugh.

I walk up to Melanie and Tristen's table, "so. Neither of us were paying attention, and I wanna ask what's the project about?" I ask Mel. She chuckles and was about to say something but to my surprise, Tristen said something.

"It's about space, you can pick whatever you want but it has to be about space. You have to do a visual presentation, whether a board or PowerPoint. You also have to do a report of your research and give your references" he says, I'm shocked that he said anything.

"Thanks, and I need to talk to you later by the way" I say and to which he nods. Bealia and I walk back to our table, we discussed what we were interested in space.

"Can we do two subjects?" I ask, he nods. "So, were gonna do black holes and comets?" Bealia asks and I nod. She smiles, "wait, which did you bring to school?" She asks. "My second baby" I say referring to my car, she smiles because she loves my car.

The bell rang for second hour, I hugged Bealia goodbye as well as Melanie.

Today got better.
