Chapter Five: Wifey Matters

Jin's POV
I got back to the apartment after buying groceries. I found it odd that the door of the apartment was unlocked and Yeontan was barking at the door.

"Taehyung?" I yelled.

I looked into his room seeing that there was no one there. The only thing left of him was his phone on his bed.

I grabbed my phone and called Namjoon.

Calling Joonie ❤️...

"Namjoon, Taehyung is missing," I said in a panicked voice.

Taehyung's POV
I was on the bed, tired from everything. I heard the door open.

"Mr. Taehyung, here's dinner for today. Please eat," I heard a young girl say as I also heard the sound of a tray.

I didn't respond and waited for the girl to leave. What was the point? I didn't even feel hungry.

I let the darkness of sleep take me once more.

One hour later...
I woke up to someone hugging me from behind. I could quickly tell that the someone was Jungkook. It felt nostalgic, nice even until the smell of alcohol hit my nose. I began to try to push him back as I thought about everything that had happened that day, but my wrist was caught by Jungkook's hand.

"You're mine. This baby is mine and so are you. I do what I want to you," I heard Jungkook slur as he gripped my wrist.

I whimpered at the touch, feeling bruises begin to form.

"Jungkook, you're hurting me," I stated as I tried to yank my arm from his grasp.

Jungkook's grip softened. He hugged me once more. I was surprised to feel wet tears on my shoulder.

"I-I'm sorry. I'm sorry," Jungkook blabbered into my shoulder as he hugged me tighter.

I relaxed in his hold, trying to find comfort.

"It's okay... it's okay," I repeated to him, patting his back in effort to calm him down.

I know now, I could never stop loving him.

Jungkook's POV
I woke up in the morning to find myself hugging Taehyung. I couldn't even remember what happened after taking Taehyung to my home. I still couldn't believe I was forcing him to stay, but I need to focus on the baby. This is what is best for the baby.
I untangled myself from him carefully in order not to wake him up. I ordered the maid to send Taehyung a good breakfast when Taehyung woke up.

I walked to the kitchen to meet a upset Lisa sitting at the dinning room table.

"Why did you sleep in the guest room last night?," Lisa asked twirling her blonde hair in between her fingers like she did every time she was mad at me.

"What? Are you interrogating me now? I got drunk last night and I must of wandered into the wrong room," I replied as I sat down at the table across from her.

"Is drinking until you pass out a new habit for you? You haven't been this way since we got married," Lisa asked sarcastically.

"Please, Lisa. Not now," I whispered.

"Whatever. The driver is here to drive you to work. I'll see you when you get back," Lisa muttered as she took a mug filled with coffee to another part of the house not being able to stand being in the same room as me.

I walked to my room to change and take a quick shower in order to go to work.

Taehyung's POV
I woke up to an empty bed. I sat up wondering if Jungkook was really there last night. I looked to my bruised wrist to confirm that what happened was real.

I saw a breakfast was already made on the table next to the bed along with a fresh set of clothes. I thought about the words that Jungkook said earlier.  I wondered why he started acting so strangely.

I couldn't bring myself to eat. I stood up to change into large t shirt that they gave me along with the shorts. It must of been Jungkook's based on the size and the same woody scent.

I heard footsteps from the other side of the door, the clicking of heels to be precise. Thinking it might be a maid, I began to bang on the door. Maybe I could convince them to let me go.

"Hey, is anyone out there!" I yelled.

I kept banging the door until I heard the door unlock.

I debating on running for it, but I knew I wouldn't get far. At least not with all of the guards and servants nearby.

A beautiful blonde lady about my age opened the door. She wore a classy black dress.

"Who are you?" She questioned.

"My name is T-Taehyung... Jungkook locked me in here," I said thinking that maybe she would help me leave.

"Oh... I'm Lisa. Jungkook's wife," the girl said with some pride, making my heart sink.

Should I tell her the truth? What would happen if she knew? She's so beautiful; no wonder Jungkook also chose her.

Awkwardly Lisa and I made eye contact for a moment, not knowing what to say.

"I-I umm, I was Jungkook's lover," I said trying to make things less awkward and break the silence.

"Ohh," Lisa replied seemingly unsure of how to respond to the statement.

"I-I'm pregnant. Jungkook wants the baby and I don't want to give it to him... Could you help me leave?" I said in between pauses.

Lisa for some reason didn't seem too shocked. She looked at me with her arms crossed, thinking for a moment.

"I'm sorry sir, but what Jungkook does is out of my control. I'm sure of that. Anyways, I should be going now..." the girl muttered turning around, about to leave.

I was beyond shocked on her reaction.

"Wait! Are you not at all angry? Jungkook was having an affair without either of our knowledge. Aren't you mad? Don't you think it's crazy that he forced me here?!" I asked with confusion within my voice.

Lisa paused at the door.

"Jungkook did not wish to marry me. It makes sense that he found someone else. I'm definitely surprised that you didn't see this. And Jungkook isn't someone to be messed with, I'm sure there is a reason you're in here," Lisa muttered coldly before leaving.

I sighed as the door closed and I heard the lock once more.

Jungkook's POV
I sat at work, going through papers. The secretary came in.

"Lisa wants you to have lunch with her. Umm now," Secretary Jimin stated.

I sighed as I went through the papers. What else could that woman need? Didn't she have a whole other part of the company to build?

"Tell her I'll meet her in a hour," I replied to Jimin.

"Sir, I think its urgent," Jimin responded.

I looked up at him confused. Lisa has never rushed Jimin before. I wonder what this can be about...
