A sharp wind shot across the blonde boy's face making him shiver and grip his arms, the now eighteen year old Taehyung stood there looking at the skies, squinting trying to focus his gaze on any sign of a small black streak shooting across the vast blue, his eyes widened as he caught sight of what he was looking for, they continued to grow wider as he quickly fell to his hands and knees as something quickly flew right over him, quickly standing he turned around and sent a glare at the animal now patiently sitting there in front of him, he folded his arms and held them closer to his chest, eyebrows furrowing as his glare deepens, a small sound came from the animal before him as it tilted his head and calmly walked forward continuing to make small high pitched sounds, Taehyung's facade started to crumble and he quickly burst into laughter and walked with his dragon, he began scratching all around it's neck and nose as the beast tried to playfully nip at Taehyung's face, the dragon had taken two years to hatch and another eight to reach a stage of adolescence, dragon's aged much differently to humans, but Taehyung didn't complain, he got to grow up with the beast, finding his best friend and companion within the gentle soul, the dragon now stood tall towering over Taehyung and let's just say Taehyung was quite tall for his age, almost the same height as his older brothers , the pair continued to play around before they noticed a presence hovering over them, looking up Taehyung saw Jimin, a stern look on his face, the young dragon began to make small sounds, almost whimper like, Taehyung's eyes fell upon the company of horses and carriages in the distance as they were setting to arrive at his home, his face fell when he noticed the banners that flew with them, royal blue with white edging, the silhouettes of a wolf and dragon protecting a crown, his body tensed as he stood up, Jimin gave his friend a soft smile before letting out a sigh
"Come on, you have to be there to greet them" mumbling a small yeah Taehyung grabbed the coat Jimin had brought along with him and pulled it over his shoulders, the fur of it's collar brushing against his cheeks, he turned to his dragon and pet it's head trying to make the creature feel a bit better by the unwelcome visitors, unwelcome by them at least
"Hey, why don't you go hide in your normal spot yeah?" the small beast didn't have to be asked twice as it quickly shot into the air and disappeared from the boy's sights, a scowl sat on Taehyung's face as the pair made their way back to the castle

Taehyung had joined his family on the front steps, He stood on the end beside Namjoon, Seokjin and his parents before themselves, they stood there, warm smalls on their faces as they watched the elegant carriage pull up in front of them, guardsmen surrounding it in formation, the door was opened by the families hand, a pale man with pitch black hair and a cold gaze, out came Mr and Mrs Jeon, the family and protectors of the South
Taehyung's parents walked down and warmly greeted the couple, the families had good relations with one another, The North and South had been at peace for hundreds of years, both sharing in the responsibility of protecting their lands and the crown, the carriage and guards cleared the front as the couples headed inside, Taehyung had began to follow his brothers before he was stopped by an obnoxious screech and the sounds of hooves rearing up behind him, a look of disgust covered his face as his eye twitched, he turned around and stood firm and stiff, arms followed and finger tapping in annoyance, the horses stopped before the steps and the two laughing men jumped off as a familiar figure flew above them high in the sky, the taller of the two looked in Taehyung's direction and smiled at him, nose crinkling in the process and his prominent teeth showing, he brushed his hair back letting the slight sweat fall from his forehead, he walked up the stairs, a hop in his step 
 "Jeon as punctual as ever I see" Taehyung almost seethed at him but tried to put on a friendly front
"Taehyung!" Jungkook's steps quicken as he landed in front of the blonde, he grabbed his shoulders and patted them, his surprising strength causing Taehyung to wince a little, seriously this kid was only sixteen what did they feed him!?
"It's so good to see you! How have you been? Where is your little friend?" he continued on past Taehyung who only scoffed and sneered up at the sky at a certain beast that Jungkook had brought with him
"This week is going to suck"
