Chapter 3 – The Truth

When both of them got to Eren’s room, Emily then locked the door and said “I saw something that will surprise you” Eren was very curious and replied “W-what? Tell me” Emily sighed and replied “I saw your father, imprisoned, that is why your mother has been worried” Eren was shocked that his father was still alive. Eren then told Emily “We should rescue him” Emily was shocked because they haven’t train or master their ability’s then replied “You know that we are not ready” Eren smirked and replied “But we can try” Emily was shocked then smirked and then replied “Good Idea”. So Eren called Raiden and said “Dude, I know one way to train” Raiden tried to guess it and replied “A mission?” Eren replied “Not just a mission, a rescue mission” Raiden replied “Who are we saving?” Eren replied “My father” Raiden was shocked too then replied “Tell everyone to meet at the hideout, tomorrow morning” Eren replied “Ok”. At the hideout, Zach asked Emily “Why are we here? Training I guess?” Emily replied “No… it’s a mission” Zach was shocked and replied “Already?” Emily nodded, then Eren and Raiden come to them and said “The mission is simple, either the plans” then Eren said “It’s infiltrating first, at least any ability can do, but we have to do it silently, we don’t know how many floors are in that building so that’s the problem” Raiden then said “We have to hack in the system to gather Intel of the specific location of Eren’s father” Emily said “Hopefully this is a “no casualty” mission Zach replied “Yea, we don’t even know how to control our abilities” Eren replied “At least we can try” then all of them learned their positions and duty then went  out . When they reach the back of the building, they notice that there is a lock system at the door, Zach quickly hacked it in then it opened, but when they were inside, both Eren and Raiden halted the team and said “Beams” they notice that the control panel was not there so Emily said “Grab my hand” then everyone grabbed her hand and she made a magnetic field to walk through the beams but a corridor  after the beamed room has a iron door with no control panel, Zach said “Guys, there’s no way. We should go back” but Emily said “What about this vent?” Eren was surprised that there was a vent so Raiden opened it and Eren got in. When Eren was in the path of the vent, he heard voices he followed where the voice were and he saw 2 guys, sitting near the control panel, talking about them, Eren found another vent and a vent above them so he made a plan to distract them by the ceiling vent and to make them unconscious, he made a noise by screaming then he went as fast to the other vent then tied the 2 guys up, after he opened the door and his comrades went in. After that Raiden asked the 2 guys “Have you held someone hostage?” they both said “Its classified information, of course we won’t tell, you children are just 12-13 and we are 22” Eren gazed both of them in the eye and said “Age doesn’t tell your maturity, Grades doesn’t tell how smart you are and no one can know you except yourself, so we are asking permission if you would tell us or not” the 2 guys were scared so they had to tell where the hostage is, they said “He is at the 104th floor, please we beg of you don’t kill us” then the team left without a word. When they reached the 104th floor, they hold Raiden’s hand and when the door opened they saw 10 men aiming their guns at them but they turned invisible before that so they went pass by and hid. The team saw Eren’s father, he was between 30 men in a room, so they had to plan, and Raiden suggested “What if Emily will ride Eren, Eren will use his speed ability and Emily will use her force field ability, I will distract them by knocking the door in front of them, Zach you should hack the door behind them then Emily and Eren will get the target. Then we can all go home” They all nodded then followed the plan. Raiden made a noise at the door in front of them then Zack hacked the door behind them then both Eren and Emily rushed in then took the target then ran until the last room. When all of them were there, they planned to jump off the building with Emily’s force field, all of them agreed, but Eren’s father is unconscious. So when they grabbed Emily’s hand, the door opened and they saw a masked guy saying “We meet team “Matrix” all of them was shocked so Emily jumped off then they land in a lake. After they were talking near the lake, Zach asked “Who was that masked man?!” Emily replied “He knows our team name but how?” Raiden had a hypothesis “If that masked man knows us, then he might have an ability to see everything which is called Remote Viewing” then they walked all the way to the hideout. When they arrived, they tried to wake Eren’s father up but they think he just needs rest, so they carry him at the guest room, after they all went to the sofa and took a rest, Raiden turn the TV on for the news and the news said “BREAKING NEWS! Mutants are still alive! As you can see at the screen, there was a discovered ability that a human can morph into a titan!” All of the team was shocked that that the owner of the ability is against the law and an owner who doesn’t know how to control the ability. Zach was thinking of an idea to climb while wielding swords, he got it from an anime called “Attack On Titan (Shingeki No Kyojin)” so he tried to copy the mechanics of the climbing tool called “3D Maneuver Gear” It can store more blades if the equipped blade gets broken and it can climb like a grappling hook but requires gas to pull up. After 1 night of rebuilding the 3D Maneuver Gear, he built another version which makes it lighter and consumes less but uses more, he showed it to his team and they were amazed of the usefulness, so Raiden scheduled training about the 3D maneuver gear. Eren practiced using the 3D Maneuver Gear alongside Raiden; Eren asked “How many people have the ability to be a titan?” Raiden replied “Maybe a lot, it can transfer to 1 body or another by sharing blood cells. They also say that they regenerate, we still don’t know the weakness though that’s the problem” then Zach ran to Raiden and said “Dude I found the weakness of the titans!” Eren asked “What?” Zach replied excitedly “Its where they can be, it’s the nape of the neck, if we slice through the person inside should be fine but if we stab through then the person inside will die, the advantage is that both of you can be as fast as possible to slice through” then the alarm of Raiden rang then he said “Damn, we should go to training now” then Emily arrived, Eren asked “Where?” Raiden smirked and replied “To the tallest building in this city” all of them were shocked. When they were finding, Zach knew that the city has so much building which is a good environment for the 3D maneuver gear to work” so he asked Raiden “Dude, can we just practice on our way?” Raiden replied “How?” Zach replied “The best environments for the 3D maneuver gear are buildings or trees, so can we just practice while finding?” Eren and Emily replied “Yea that is a good idea though” then Raiden replied “Fine, let’s do it” so all of them grabbed the grappling hook, pointed at their destination then they went to the air. All of them had fun, people saw them and were shocked and fascinated of the gear they are using which is not yet known to everyone. The team saw the people and Eren, Emily and Raiden thanked Zach for inventing it, Zach was happy that everyone was thanking him for inventing a useful gear to fly. When they found the building, they went to the top, everyone was scared though but there is one thing to face for this training and it is fear.
