Chapter 2 – The Group

 1 year later…

Eren was a teenager and his abilities are still up and working but his mother was still worried, Eren still doesn’t know so he asked her “Mom, why are you so worried?” Her mom replied “Oh it nothing” and smiled then Eren replied slowly saying “Ok… I’ll be going to school now so bye I will you later”. On his way to school, he saw a 13-year old girl with some gangsters, taking away her valuables in an alley so he asked them “Excuse me, but what you are doing is prohibited” and all of them looked at him, laughed for a long period of time, the leader pulled out his fist but Eren dodged they were pretty impress and Eren was just waiting for them to give back the possession of the girl but they pulled out their weapons and attacked Eren, Eren was not afraid and used all of his abilities to take the valuables of the girl, carried the her at his back and ran, the gangsters was shocked of what they did was worth nothing. Eren dropped her at the park and asked her “Hey are you okay?” the girl replied “I think so, but thanks for what you did back there” Eren asked another question “Um…What is your name?” the girl replied “My name is Emily, what about you?” Eren replied “I’m Eren” then afterwards Emily replied “Let us be friends” Eren replied excitedly “Yea sure” then they went to school. At dismissal both Eren and Emily was at the cafeteria but when they saw someone being chased by a janitor, both of them followed the janitor, when the boy was cornered Eren asked him “Just stop we are here to help you just tell us, what did you do?” the boy replied aggressively “I found a knife, I grabbed it to put it in the kitchen lab but somebody was running and he almost got stabbed, this janitor thinks I did it in purpose” Emily told the janitor “Sir, you should have let him speak, before chasing him” the janitor felt ashamed and said “I’m sorry” and the boy replied “Ok I forgive you,  you know you must not chase unless you have evidence“ the janitor replied “Ok sir” and walked away, the boy said to Eren and Emily “Hey, thanks for the support though” Eren and Emily replied “No Problem” then Emily asked “Are you new here?” the boy replied “Yes, and my name is Zach” Emily replied “Ok, I’m Emily and this is Eren” then Zach said excitedly “Hey lets all be friends” Eren nodded and said “Ok”. When Emily and Zach went home, Eren was still a few blocks to his home but he thinks it’s approximately 15 minutes more but when he saw a guy with a hood looking at him he thinks that the guy is stalking him since he got out of school so Eren chased him without using his abilities to avoid getting catch by Mutant scanners nearby, but then the guy who was stalking him was a mutant and used his ability to run, then Eren was shocked to see that there is another mutant because he thought that all of the mutants were extinct then he either used his ability to run they have the same speed but Eren just couldn’t catch up but Eren has a talent on parkour so he used climbed to the 2nd floor of a building and jumped over the guys head and caught him. When Eren took of his hood, it was Raiden the son of Samuel, Raiden said to Eren “I’m not here to go 1 on 1, I’m here to help you I want to take the substance and get rid of it, I don’t want to die with everyone, I want others to live” Eren Replied “Your father has authority to everything right?” Raiden nodded and said “Let me be part of your group” Eren was curious and said “What group?” Raiden replied “The group you had with that girl and the boy” Eren replied “They are not mutants” Raiden replied “Are you sure?” Eren replied “No…” Raiden replied “My abilities are invisibility, speed, intelligence, pyrokinesis and something called the “Eagle Vision”” Eren was amazed that they have the same abilities including the eagle vision, Eren then replied “I have what you have” Raiden quickly said “How about we will meet tomorrow, ok?” Eren replied “Ok” then Raiden ran as fast as he can to his home including Eren. When Eren went home, his mother asked “Did the teacher ask you anything about the medical exams?” Eren replied “No” then he went to his room then slept. Eren was still thinking of the vision he had he just couldn’t stop after he remembered that Raiden has the eagle vision so he is thinking to ask Raiden if he had the same vision as him tomorrow at school. At school, Eren, Zach and Emily met at the cafeteria; Eren told Emily and Zach “Guys, do you know Raiden?” Zach replied “The son of Samuel?” Eren replied “Yep and he is a mutant. Either me, I’m a mutant” Emily replied “I’m a mutant too, my abilities are force field, mind reading and telekinesis” Eren was shocked that Emily either was a mutant, then Zach said “I’m a mutant too my ability isn’t that useful though…” Eren asked “What is it?” Zach sighed and said “Healing, Walkthrough walls, intelligence and hacking” Emily replied “That’s good enough!”, then Raiden came and said “Hey, Eren!” then sat down, Eren told them “Guys, Raiden, the son of Samuel, wants to take the substance and get rid of it” Zach asked “What substance?” Raiden replied “The Matrix” Emily replied “The Matrix can destroy 1 galaxy, correct?” Eren replied “Yes” Raiden said “We have to stop it, team?” Eren replied “Team” Zach said “Team” Emily took a few seconds to think and she sighed and said “Team”. They are planning of how to get the Matrix but it takes long training and they also need something for their defenses as mutants, so Raiden found the team a hideout, the hideout has a lot of features and no mutant scanner are found there, but they still have school so they wait when they have finished their education. All of them made the name of the team; they named it “The Matrix”. Eren’s mom was still worried about something that Eren doesn’t know, he remembered that Emily has the ability to read minds so she asked Emily “Um, Emily can you come to my house?” Emily replied “Ok, why?” Eren replied with a sigh “it’s because my mother has been worried with something that I want to know” Emily replied “Ok, I will try”. When they reached Eren’s house, Eren and Emily went to Eren’s room and made a plan how to read Eren’s mom, first Eren will make snacks and bring it to the table then he will call Emily to eat, while eating, Emily will read the mind of Eren’s mom, after that go back to the room. When Eren was making snacks Emily was watching a picture of Eren with his mother and she was asking herself “Where is Eren’s father in this picture?”, Then Eren called her, while eating she used her ability and she saw 3 Policemen taking away a man and then the other one asking Marzia aggressively “Anymore mutants?!” Marzia replied scared “N-no, sir” then he walked away. Eren asked Emily “What did you saw?” Emily replied emotionally “You will not believe what I just saw” then both of them went to Eren’s room.
