The Nightmare on Christmas Day

"Keep it steady" Lucky said as he stood on top of of ladder as he tried to reach the top of the Christmas Tree to place the bright red star he has in his hands

"I'm trying" Eli said as he hold the ladder tightly but it kept on shaking because in Eli's opinion Lucky was moving too much

"Then try harder" Lucky pleaded as he tried to place the star again but unfortunately for him the tree was a bit too tall for him

"Nabi! Have you seen where are those boxes of apples are?" Marga asked peeking from the kitchen doors as Nabi paused from decorating the tree with Christmas balls

"I think I saw them near the tomato boxes Marga" she said as she placed a red ball on the tree

"The tomato boxes? Thanks a lot Nabi" Marga thanked her as she resumed back to cooking meals and desserts

Martha who arrived earlier since she got her day off helped her sister with the decorations

She stood on top of a small ladder as she placed some red and green garland on the windows

'Now all I need is some Christmas lights' she thought as she searched a nearby by table full of small boxes for some lights

"Meow" she heard as one of the boxes shook opened revealing Mr. Whiskers who was covered in Christmas lights

"Aww aren't you just a sweetie" Martha said patting Mr. Whiskers head who purred in delight

Martha quickly took off the tangled lights around the cat, after that she lifted him up and placed him on his bed

"Now be a good kitty and stay here okay" she said with a smile as Mr. Whiskers merely meowed at her

Martha giggled as she went to finish decorating the windows

Mr.Whiskers circled around his bed and laid down in boredom. No one wants to play with since all of the crew were busy at the moment

Then he heard a snoring sound and turned his head and saw the giant ball of floof sleeping on a pillow at a nearby table

A big grin was plastered in his face and slowly sneaked up on the sleeping owl, when he was close enough, he purred loudly

"MEOW!"

Mr.Floof woke up from his slumber and turned to the source of the sound with sleepy eyes

"Hoot?" As he turned around he was greeted by surprisingly large teeth ready to eat him up

"HOOT HOOT" he squawked in fright now wide awake as he dodge a paw from the cat and flew around in all directions with the cat hot on his tail

"MEOW!"

"HOOT HOOT"

"Please hurry" Eli pleaded trying his best to keep the ladder as steady as possible

Then he heard noises and saw his owl getting chased by the cat yet again

"Hey! Stop chasing my owl!" Nabi heard him shout as she turned around and saw the same thing

"Mr.Whiskers! Stop it" She shouted getting everyone but Lucky's attention as she tried to catch the cat by the collar

Unfortunately for her the cat swept past her as the owl flew on top of Eli's head

"H-Hey!" Eli said in shocked as he saw the cat jumped at him

His owl merely flew away as soon as the cat was near him. Mr. Whiskers grabbed Eli's face with his claw and scratched him a few times trying to get to the owl
