Chapter 1 Smiley's First Day Of School

"Smiley, Honey. You got to get up for school," her mom said.  "Uhhh....What?" Smiley said really tired. "Today is your first day of school. Now com'on and get out of bed". Smiley was so tired she wanted to back to bed, but she new she couldn't, so she clawed her self into the kitchen. "Hi Smiley. How did you sleep?" Her dad asked. "I slept ok", she answered as she wiped her eyes. "Your mother mad eggs, bacon, and toast for breakfast. Now eat up. You got a big day uhead of you!" He father smiled. "Big day my ass", she whispered. "What did you say?!" Her mother demanded. "Nothing mother. I am going to go brush my teeth now", she said as she walk to the bathroom. Smiley wondered what if no one likes me at my new school? What if I get picked on? What if the teachers hate me?!?!?! "Hurry Smiley you are going to be late!!" Her mother yelled. "Coming", Smiley said on her way to the front door. She started to slow down as she gotten closer to her mom.  "Ok I am ready for my first day of school mom," Smiley smiled. "Ok Honey be safe," her mom assured her. "I will!" She said as she walked out the door. Smiley was nervous and excited at the same time. Smiley never been outside much so she didn't now anyone. But it didn't matter much to Smiley as long as she made friends. "I'm here. Ok Smiley calm down, it is just a school", she said to her self. But before she new it she ran into somebody. "Hey! Watch were you are doing!" The boy shouted. "I-i a-am very s-sorry sir I didn't mean..." "What is your name," he asked. "Smiley", she replied. "Ok lemon face. Don't let that happen ever again ok? Great see you in class." He said as he walked to class. Lemon face? Smiley thought. My name is Smiley not lemon face. And I don't even now his name. Oh well.
