The performing world is buzzing with excitement today. More specifically, Gloire City. Banners and ribbon fly in the wind, attached onto whatever light post, building, or sign available. The residents know it's their biggest day of the year and have no problem showing their support.
Most displays of support are for Aria, pictures of herself, her Pokémon, and past performances are shown on the banners. The Kalos Queen announced that she was changing her official colour to blue this year, instead of pink like usual.
You wouldn't think something like a colour change is important but it caused a minor earthquake through the performing world. People quickly had to change their plans and find various blue coloured decorations and clothes for the event.
No one really knows why she changed to blue but there must've been a reason since no Kalos Queen before her had done such a thing. However, the change allowed Serena to choose her favourite colour for today.
Blue and pink are going to fill the Master Class stage in a few hours. People are already starting to fill in...

Aria has to leave the group early in the morning to get her final preparations finished. The other three opted for a few extra hours of sleep instead of leaving early with her. They do need to get going soon though...
"She still isn't up," Clemont shakes his head. The two boys were up awhile ago and headed down to the cafeteria for breakfast. They expected Bonnie to show up soon after they started but she still hasn't come down.
"Her and Aria must've been up all night talking," Ash chuckles. "Let's take a plate up to her."
"Good idea," Clemont nods. "We should probably get going if we don't want to sit in the nosebleeds."
Ash agrees and after making up a plate of food, the two head back to the rooms. They knock on the door and a girl in distress opens it hurriedly. "Bonnie what's the matter?" Clemont asks his sister.
Her lemon blonde hair is messy so it's obvious that she just woke up. Her eyes are wide open in worry and she's shaking a bit. That's when Ash and Clemont notice a shiny object in her hand.
Aria's tiara.
"That's a problem," Ash states and Bonnie nods vigorously. "Clemont when does it start?"
"We still have an hour and eighteen minutes," Clemont answers exactly.
"Lots of time," Ash smiles which calms the young girl a bit. "How about you eat and get ready first?"
"But-" She gets cutoff by her brother.
"You can't cheer on Aria if you're too hungry to stay and watch," Clemont says. "I'm sure that will mean more to her than the tiara."
"Clemont's right," Ash assures her.
"Ok," Bonnie says and takes the plate from her brother.
Bonnie eats quickly before getting dressed. She grabs her bag and runs outside with Dedenne on her head. She meets Ash and Clemont who were having a quick training battle. "Where's the crown?" Bonnie asks before they leave the Pokémon Center.
"In my backpack," Ash smiles. "Should be safe in there."
"It better be," Bonnie warns before bolting off in the direction of the castle.
The group runs through the fairly empty streets. Which means most of the seats are likely filled already. They reach the entrance and examine the many signs for any hint that will take them to Aria.
"Dressing rooms are that way," Ash points out a guarded hallway. "You guys should probably go get us seats since there won't be many good ones left."
