"We're back here," Aria looks around the area her and Ash were teleported to.
The secret garden outside Snowbelle City. The most memorable part being the wooden hut that usually holds a sleeping Snorlax but he's out and about today. For some reason though, it doesn't seem as peaceful as last time.
Ash scans the field of multicoloured flowers for a sign of the Pokémon that brought them here. He notices a cave and a figure emerging out of it.
Its purple bipedal body is a product of years of genetic research. A one of a kind Pokémon. Possibly the strongest pure Pokémon without training or gimmicks.
Ash recognizes it immediately, not really surprised since very few Pokémon can communicate telepathically. Aria on the other hand...
"You tried to fight that thing?!" She exclaims.
"Tried," Mewtwo says. If says is the right word. The Pokémon walks toward the couple, if they are a couple yet.
"You!" Ash stomps up to the Pokémon. "I need to go back and help!"
Looks like the fight is getting a sequel.
"Calm hero," Mewtwo says in his never changing monotone voice. "I am aware of the situation in Lumiose, but you going back won't help."
"What do you mean?!" Ash starts to feel helpless.
"There's got to be something we can do," Aria adds. "There's always something we can do."
Mewtwo's eyes glow the psychic turquoise colour and an image appears in the middle of the field. Using its psychic power it produces a clear view of the city.
It starts zoomed out. Smoke rising from building, cement crumbling onto the streets. Blurs of people running around frantically fill the streets as flashes of Pokémon attacks explode around them.
When it zooms in you can see hundreds of red suits belonging to Team Flare grunts. All of them herding people with their Pokemon's attacks, catching those who couldn't hide in time.
The image moves towards the stadium where Diantha and Lysandre are still on the stage. Except a mega evolved shiny gyarados rises above them in its massive red serpent form.
Lysandre smirks as his grunts take Diantha and three of the other Elite 4 into the helicopter. The last member?
Standing confidently beside Lysandre with her arms crossed. Malva. She has long bright pink hair that is held up except for two wavy parts that go down her cheeks. She also has red sunglasses and a black outfit that hugs her slim figure.
Lysandre really has access to everything.
"They have Diantha," Ash grumbles while gritting his teeth. "She's supposed to be the strongest trainer in the region."
"Her Gardevoir isn't out anymore so it must've been defeated," Aria points out dejectedly. "But the other champions will come to Kalos right?"
"No," Mewtwo says and ends the image projection. "Lysandre said he wants to take over the world, so they're staying to protect their regions."
"Well at least they only have Lumiose City controlled," Ash says. "We can go recruit trainers and take it back."
"Yes!" Aria smiles at his optimism, something she really needs right now.
"A lot of West Kalos Is already taken over," Mewtwo continues with his stoic voice. "The whole region was glued to their televisions and didn't see it coming."
The hits just keep coming.
What else could go wrong?
"Clemont and Bonnie!" Ash and Aria manage to yell in unison.

The two siblings run towards Prism Tower.
Home always feels safe, but it'll be a different kind of safe.
If they make it of course.
Luxray has gotten them almost the whole way there. His thunderbolt and wild charge attacks blow away the grunts and their Pokémon. But he can't go on forever and there's still a clump of grunts to defeat.
Five Houndoom snarl at him. Their black dog-like forms and long curled grey horns are the only things between him and his tower. The devil's Pokémon.
"Need help?" Another gym leader steps beside Clemont.
"Valerie!?" Bonnie asks almost excitedly.
Clemont can't stop staring into the girl's eyes. Not the time.
Valerie giggles and hits him. "Lumiose City is under attack remember."
"Oh right," He shakes his head, embarrassed that his head wasn't on straight. Something that rarely happens.
"Does your Luxray have one more attack?" Valerie asks, her Sylveon out in front with it's cuter white and ribbon dog-like form.
Clemont nods.
"Okay Sylveon use dazzling gleam!" The black haired girl shouts. She doesn't have her usual wings on, just the cute black and pink dress.

The dazzling gleam attack does exactly what you would expect. It dazzles. The pink wave of energy stuns and brings every Houndoom to their knees.
There's a lot of grunts but that doesn't make them strong.
"Thunder!" Clemont goes for the big finish.
It's still a clear blue sky, which makes the chaos underneath even more unfitting, but it manages to produce a thunderbolt capable of wiping out five Houndoom.
But as their temporary foes are defeated, Prism Tower goes into lockdown mode.
Prism Tower is unique because you can walk between its four legs, allowing the plaza to be as open as possible. But in times of danger big steel doors can fall in between them.
"Let's go!" Clemont runs, dragging Bonnie along. When Clemont runs you know it's serious.
The doors are about halfway down and the siblings make it safely.
"Ahh!" They turn around to see Valerie laying on the ground.
No she didn't fall over in true cliche form.
A semi-conscious grunt managed to grab her ankle and pulls her to the cement sidewalk. Luckily her hero... Sylveon gave him a kick to the face like a fairy type should.
Clemont holds out his hand, crouching under the falling door.
