"There's a few things you must know about a royal marriage," Yejin began. "The most important being the consummation of the marriage."
You almost chocked on your water as you heard Yejin's words leave her mouth.
"What?" You ask after clearing your throat.
"Consummation. You know what it means right?"
"Y-Yeah. I just didn't know we had to do it the night of our wedding."
"That isn't the worst part." Yejin commented. "It's not your regular scene."
"What do you mean?" You questioned.
"She means that there's other people in the room watching us... you know." Jin answered for his mother.
"What?! Who else is in there?"
"Apart from us; nobles, the person who marries us, and my brother."
"Your brother?! I-I don't think I can do that."
"You need witnesses." Yejin affirmed.
"But why so many? Why can't it only be at least one?"
"It has always been that way, Y/N." Yejin informed. "But don't worry. Once you're doing it you forget about everyone watching."

"Even if I'm not, it'll still be tomorrow." You sat on your bed.
"Don't worry," Jin made his way towards the bed and sat next to you. "It will all turn out fine."
"I don't want to consummate." You blurted and Jin's eyes widened.
"It's not the part of sleeping with you that makes me uneasy, it's the part of people watching us." You explained yourself and Jin felt himself be able to breathe again.
