It was the year 2016, Red velvet has been promoting their new song Dumb Dumb, it was the beginning of the year...

They were all getting ready for the Seoul Music Awards, they would perform their song 'Dumb Dumb' with a special dance stage at the beginning involving Irene, Yeri and Seulgi (The dance line)

Irene POV

Everyone was in the car, doing their own things when i notice Yeri looking out the window. She seemed a little out of it...

"Yerim?"
"Ne, Unnie?" She replied, still looking out the window
"Are you alright?" Irene says, worriedly
"Ne" Yeri replies looking at her with a sad smile

The car turns silent again -

"Actually Unnie, um I'm actually really nervous right now... and you know the hate about me joining Red Velvet --" Yerim says, not making eye contact with Irene, smiling through it all
But I could see the distress in her voice and the sadness in her smile

"Yerim - Don't worry about the haters, they'll soon release the talent you have and for today's performance, your going to slay it don't worry, your dancing is extra good, there's nothing to be worried about" i say while i grab Yeri's hand

I, of course knew what she was going through, she debuted at such a young age and to have many haters already breaks my heart

Yerim could only smile, with a glint of happiness, feeling more encourage from my what I said

"Also, Yeri if you need someone to talk to, im ALWAYS here for you" I say smiling once again at Yeri
There's something about Yeri that makes me really happy... She's like my ball of sunshine

No one's POV

Soon after they arrive at the award -
Red Velvet heads for their dressing room and starts to practice one last time

Yeri yells out "Unnie, Im going to get water, I'll be back soon!"
She steps out of their dressing room and into the corridors

She suddenly bumps into a tall figure after walking about a few metres from her dressing room
"Sorry" Yeri whispers, not looking at the odd tall figure in front of her

"It's okay" The tall figure looks down at the small girl who bumped into her, to notice that her presence sounds familiar ...

"Yeri?"  The man says

"Hm?" She finally looks up to see Jungkook of BTS, "AH, Jungkook sunbae- im so sorry" she says constantly bowing

"Its okay, like i said, what brings you here?" He smiles at her with his bunny teeth showing
Yeri questions in her mind - here? What? - Only to look at her side to notice she was just outside BTS' dressing room
Yeri stands there awkwardly, "i was on my way to get water, actually"

Jungkook looks at her without speaking

"What?" Yeri impatiently asks

"The thing is, the water dispenser is the other way" He chuckles

Yeri suddenly gets flustered and turns red, in embarrassment
When out of no where the door to BTS' room opens to see Taehyung of BTS "Jung-"
He was about to say something when he notices a small, petite girl next to Jungkook

"Red Velvet Yeri?" He says in shock

"Ah hello, anyway i will be going now" She walks away smiling brightly at both of the males

Taehyung POV

"Jungkook?"

"Hyung?" Junkook eyes him

"There you are kookie, we were waiting for you" Says Jimin worriedly
"Tae where was he?"

"He was outside, with Yeri"
Everyone stops and looks at Jungkook with a shocked expression on their face

"It was nothing, I was outside to get some fresh air when she accidentally bumped into me, nothing more" Jungkook says boringly to the rest of his members

Hmm...

No ones POV

It was finally time for the award shows, Red Velvet's table was near BTS' - It was finally time for Red Velvets performance with their special stage

The lights start to dim, there is darkness and silence when the crowd starts to cheer "RED VELVET!!"

And there on stage was Yeri, Irene and Seulgi dancing to a remix of dumb dumb
Jungkook was totally mesmerised with their performance especially to Yeri, his eyes were glued to her every move

JungKook POV

"She's so cute" He says to himself in a whisper

Huh? What?

The performance ended with another cheer for them, she was smiling

The award part of the event had started

"And the Bonsang award goes to ... RED VELVET"
A huge round of applause started to fill the air

Oh, they're going to pass by, I stood up and applauded to them

No one POV

Jungkook stoop up while clapping​ for Red Velvet as they were passing by, however, Jungkook's eyes were looking for a certain someone, he eventually found her and looked at her brightly, smiling, Yerim of course saw this and smiled back at BTS and walked up with a huge smile on her face

The award ceremony came to an end, with BTS also winning a Bonsang.

All the artists were heading to their vans and going back to their dorms when Jungkook catches a glance of Yeri standing in the parking lot looking for her van.
Jungkook doesn't hesitate and takes this moment to greet her

"Yeri-shii, congratulations in your award" He says
Yeri was surprised at first then replied "Thank you, congratulations on your award too" She says smiling brightly again at Jungkook
They both continued have small talk with each other when,
Seulgi approaches them and says "Yeri, Irene Unnie found the van, come on..." While acknowledging Jungkook with her

"Ne unnie, I need to go now" she says, while bowing and walks away with Seulgi

Jungkook then turns around and goes to his van where his members are waiting for him

"What took you so long?" Namjoon asks
"There was a line in the bathroom" Then calmly puts on his ear phones and closes his eyes

A few moments later, Namjoon realises that there was absolutely no way there would be a line in the bathroom because they were one of the last groups to leave, leaving him wondering what he was doing
