Chapter One - A New Job

I arrive at the Detroit Police Station and look around.
*This place is huge*
I walk over to the reception quickly, eager to start my new job. There was something about justice that appealed to me, something about fixing the wrongs people do in this world really helped me, it sounds strange I guess, but it helps me deal with all the stress in my life.
"Good morning" I smile warmly at the android at reception.
"Morning" she replies.
"My name is (Y/N) (Y/LN) and I'm here to see Captain Jeffrey Fowler?"
"Yes his office is through the door just to your right."
"Thank you very much" I smile at the android again, and start walking to the door she pointed out, starting to get nervous about meeting my new boss. I saw his office and I took a deep breath before knocking and entering.
"Excuse me Sir, my name is (Y/N)
(Y/LN), I'm here for my new job."
"It's a pleasure to meet you (Y/N)" he extends a hand to me, I shake it and reply
"You too Sir"
"Sit down please (Y/N)"
I sit down on one of the chairs in his office, eager to see what he says.
"Do you have any experience with androids (Y/N)?"
I thought about this for a moment.
"When I was living with my parents we bought an android to help my twin sisters, who were very young at the time. He was very close to me, like a brother."
"That's good because I'm placing you with Lieutenant Hank Anderson, who has not been informed yet, but will be working alongside you and an android who you will meet soon. I belive his name is Connor." As if it was listening to our conversation, an android knocked on the door, and Captain Fowler let him in.
"Hello, my name is Connor I'm the android sent by Cyberlife."
"Hello Connor. This is one of your new partners you will be working with."
He glanced over at me and extended his hand.
"Hi, I'm (Y/N) (Y/LN)."
"It's a pleasure to be with you (Y/N)."
"You too Connor."
*Dang he's kinda cute. NO! This isn't allowed. He's a workmate, therefore off limits. Plus he's an android, they don't have feelings so you ya dingus.*
