He laid there in excruciating pain. He watched the lightning shoot through him. The room was dark and cold yet warm. Elias couldn't see anything. His eyes darted around the room and he could only feel the presence of what was standing there. There was loud chanting. It was blistering to Elias's ears. It sounded like latin. "Maybe it was," he questioned. He started talking to himself as if we was unable to control what he was saying. Before he knew, it he was effortlessly speaking a foreign language. Elias then slipped into a dream-like state.

The sky opened up and Elias dropped down. Which in turn caused him to hit the ground and fracture a part of his spine. He groaned as he attempted to sit up and then he flopped back down. "That's not gonna happen...", he chuckled and then immediately regretted it shot pains up his back. Elias looked up at the ceiling and started humming a tune that his mother used to sing to him in an attempt to soothe himself. Suddenly, there was a loud crash and instinctively he jolted. He closed his eyes and tried to stop his breathing for a few seconds. Almost as if he was hoping whatever he heard wasn't going to cause him harm.

After a few minutes, Elias opened his eyes slightly to see something standing over him. It was hideous as it snarled its teeth at him. Elias started to move slightly to find that he was tied up with what felt like metal. "Chain maybe?," He thought. He then cleared his throat slightly and opened his eyes as he tried to put on a stone face in an attempt to hide his fear. The beast-like creature didn't seem to move in the slightest as he tried to present himself. "Excuse me?", he spoke. The monster yet again did nothing. He smiled. "This is a joke," he thought to himself, "there's no way this is real. He's not evening responding to anything I'm doing."

All of a sudden the monster started moving and speaking in chants. "Like a bug...," he thought. Elias raised his eyebrows in amusement at the little show. He started laughing quietly to himself. "I figured it out", he said to the beast. The monster ignored him and continued to chant. It irritated him. How could anyone ignore him. "I figured it out!" he screamed. Everything went black like someone turned off a light. It was like God turned off the sun. He bit his tongue and tried to move to find that he was free. Elias was free but floating. He was floating effortlessly in the darkness. Hours and hours passed by but he was lost.
