"An Albino! That's rare" The Alpha muttered looking over at her Mom as she lay there praying they wouldn't hurt her.
"She was in the cage because of him! He killed her like everyone else!" Her Mother told them bravely that was her Mom the brave, caring, loving and someone that she couldn't lose. The Alpha moved closer to her mom which made her blood boil as she watched him stalk her like pray.
"Why a cage?" The Alpha asked curiously as he stared at the remaining group of four people,
"He puts people in there when they disobey him" Her mom replied boldly as the beast circled the group. Her mind was screaming at her to move to stop this and protect her Mom but her body struggled to move at all as her feet wouldn't allow her to get up.
"Kill the Alpha than kill these last mutts" The beast said simply as he started to walk away.
"No!" Her voice finally managed to scream out which caught the Alpha off guard as he spun round in her direction, Arms grabbed her pulling her to her feet as she was pulled out of her hiding place.
"What's your name?" He asked once she was standing next to him, she felt the pull towards him more as their eyes met it seemed almost like a bitter irony as she felt the mating bond snap into place.
"Lilianna" Was all she could say not looking at him, somehow she felt more strength now as she decide to plan ways to run away from the pack that had destroyed them.
"Kill them all expect her" The Alpha order coldly,
"No! Leave my mom out of this" She yelled trying not to beg as she watched them starting to slit people's throats in front of her. She fell onto her knees as the blood started spraying out like fountains as they screamed and gagged on their own blood.
"I'm so sorry!" Her muttered locking eyes with her Mom as they held the knife to her throat. She knew it was over before they slashed the knife across,
"Run!" Her mom managed to gag out which was the trigger  she needed as she took out running as fast as she could into the trees.
"After her" Her mate's voice boomed but she ignored it pushing herself to the limit her body could take to get away.

Her legs burn as she made it to the outskirts of the woods of her hometown. Every step burned but she couldn't stop knowing they were right behind her, the sound of her heart bounding against her ribs was the only thing she could hear as she skidded down the hill that connect to the highway. If she could get to the human town across the highway she could hide knowing they couldn't grab her in a public place. Her feet  hit the road with a thud that almost knocked her off her feet, she didn't stop as she felt her bones shaking in protest. Finally she made it over the barrier on the other side. Her body failed once she managed to climb off the highway, 'It's over' She thought lying under the support beam of the highway as everything went black.
