The time was 9:36pm, he had gotten home a few hours ago and had eaten the left overs from 2 days ago for dinner. His parents were not home yet again. He sat alone in his room with homework from every subject half done, the ost of a drama his mother liked to watch playing almost silently in the background.
It helped make him feel less lonely when his parents could not be there to join him. He hadn't had a fresh meal in weeks. When things felt too tough, he repeated the words they had said to him the day they left overseas. 'We're doing this for all of us honey. In Malaysia there are better jobs so that we can support you financially, so please don't be upset alright? Your father and I promise to send you postcards to Update you, so please don't worry too much. Love you forever' his mother had sobbed along with him, wiping his tears with her thumb she loaded the bags into their car and drove off crying. It made the wait feel worth it, that the distance put between them was for a good cause.
He hoped she would still be okay by herself, after all, there's not much a dad can do when he's already passed on.
Jisung hummed the lyrics tearfully, choking when the chorus played again. It was her favourite part. "Good times Jisung, only the good times. She'll come back and you'll be okay."
He cried himself to sleep uncomfortably, lying face down on his study table, tears drenching his notes.
With a pained moan, Jisung fell to his knees. He was in his classroom, a figure sitting cross legged on the teachers desk. It appeared to be a boy, and he was still humming. He recognised it as his mothers favourite drama's OST.
Jisung hugged his legs and tried to relief himself of the horrendous pain he was victim of. The boy smirked and moved towards him, he looked familiar but Jisung couldn't point out where.
"Would you like some help with that?" He motioned with his hands towards Jisung's bruised knees. The boy crouched down to eye level and smiled again, if you could even call it a smile. It was more like the look a (insert animal who toys with prey before they kill them).
"Uh.. uh what?" Jisung's voice was still sore from ...crying? Did that happen in dreams? Could things that happened in real life be imported into dreams? He wasn't sure, he couldn't remember half of them.
"Do you want me to, ah, relieve the pain from your fall?" The boy asked again, eyes widen open. It was kind of creepy.
If this is a dream, then it doesn't ease matter what happens because it's just a dream. He thought silently to himself. It's not like it's gonna kill him so he decided to go with it. He'll have something to tell his friends in the morning at least, even if they tease him afterwards.
"Um ok, you can do that?" He questioned shuffling backwards a bit. The stranger was getting way to close for comfort.
The boy's eyes crinkled into crescents and without a second to lose he replied with, "Of course I can! Take my hand and I'll show you were we can get you healed."
Jisung felt pretty reassured until he added in "You have to wear a blindfold though, we wouldn't want you to see something, mmh scary now. I won't bite... yet."
Apparently this guy didn't need an answer, or he didn't know what consent was because he grabbed Jisung's hand with no hesitation and pulled him up along with him.The boy wrapped a silky black material over Jisung's eyes and tightened it slowly. Jisung noticed that he was breathing too heavily to be considered normal, just what was going inside his head?
He then proceeded to drag Jisung to god knows where, if it weren't for the fact that this was a dream he would have been thrashing and demanding to be let go. But he didn't, because it was a dream. Just a dream.
The boy's grip tightened and Jisung let out a small whimper. Dreams weren't supposed to hurt this much right?
"Sorry, I just had a... mmmh disturbing thought." The boy said softly, as he began to massage the hand he had brought pain to.
Jisung awoke with a migraine, a pair of sore knees and a bruised hand. Did he sleep walk without himself even knowing? Should he get himself checked out? This couldn't be healthy.
