I walk into my mother room; it's dark and messy covered in clothes. A syringe of heroine on her bed. I ignore it and wall to her dresser to find her money. I open the drawer to find a picture of her, dad, and I. Looking at it then looking at her wallet I snatch the wallet from the drawer and close it. I take out two hundreds and stick it in my pocket tossing her wallet on the beds red blanket.

I walk out of the room, grabbing the car keys from the dining table and walking out of the house Locking the door behind me. I hop into my truck and start it. I set off for the hospital clinic.

When I get there I walk to the front desk. "Excuse me, do you know if a check up is open right now?"I say trying to sound nice. She looks at me a moment before saying anything.

"Well I don't think that a check up is appropriate for your injuries the main hospital is the building to the left if you'll look over there."she said very sweet and very concerned.

"Why thank you, I'll head over there now. Thanks for the help."I say and start to walk in the direction she instructed. I walk in to find a similar looking lady at the front desk; I ask her if I could see a doctor for my injuries. She tells me to wait while she gets a doctor to come out.

"Why hello, I'm Dr. Wells may you come this way please" he says leading me to a room.

"So it seems you have a bruise on your face, how'd you get it?" He asks.

"I also have one on my back and rib," I say and he responds.

"Mhm"

"I fell off a five story building and for some reason I have no internal bleeding or anything intense injuries" I explain and he looks at me puzzled.

"Are you sure? Because if you really did you would've had serious brain damage and broken bones" he stated in confusion.

"I'm sure" I say confidently. He says ok and that he'll be back with other nurses.

"Ok penny, i probably need to take some X-ray scans to see if you broke anything." He said and then leads me to a new room it's dark. He tells me to stand still and face him. So I do.

We finish and I head back to my hospital room waiting for the results. The doctor walks in with a confused face. "Penny it seems you have no broken bones so I'm going to do a brain scan to see if anything's wrong in there." He says and leads me to another room again.

After the brain scan he comes in and tells me this. "Penny you have a large amount of bleeding in your skull so we're going to do a surgery to fix the fracture in your skull, okay"

I start to go under my body starts to get heavy and my breath slows."Penny, Penny, Penny wake up!" I hear a familiar voice say.

"What!" I say angrily.

"It's me ruby you came back I told you not to; why are you back?"she says concerned.

" I don't know did I die from surgery?" I say concerned for myself. "Shit"

"What, why are you in surgery?" She asks with worried bark colored eyes.

"I fucking survived the fall somehow and went to go see if I was dying obviously!"
