Once we figured out how to do all of this, we got everything we needed and drove to Allison and Brooke's houses to pick them up. What does Brooke do in this situation? We just wanted to bring her along because it's Brooke, she's a lonely one and she kinda gets sad when we don't invite her. Anyway, we got what we needed for this ritual and it's been pretty fucking boring these last few days and it would be fun to actually do some weird shit.
We go to a large lake in the middle of woods that Circe apparently owns. We all put everything in position the way the book tells us to. But when I look at Circe, she has a worried look on her face.

"Carter...." She says.

"Yeah?" I respond.

"You need to..." she pulls out a pocket knife from her back pocket, "offer your blood."

"Why do I have to-"

"They have to know the person who wants their help, Carter!! They need to make a deal with the person who summons them!!"

"But why do I need to-

"I don't know!!" She takes out a switchblade from her pocket, she presses up with her thumb on the trigger and the blade pops out, "you need to do it or else it won't work."

I grab the switchblade and look at the others. They're surprised she raised her emotional voice at me.

"You need to put a drop of blood on the rose, if it remains red because of your blood then it didn't work. If it turns green or minty blue then it worked," she says.

I walk closer to the rose and cut a line across my wrist. I crouch down and put my wrist over the rose, I put the switchblade down on the grass and start squeezing blood out with my now free hand. The rose is a bloody red with white still getting covered over by the blood. I grab the switchblade, put my finger over the trigger and press down so the blade goes back in and put it in my pocket. I stand up and glance at my friends behind me while I cover my bloody wrist with my hand. They're horrified. Circe signals Allison to start playing the music. Allison nods and shakily starts to play London Bridge on that old accordion.

Everyone was silent. All you can hear was the music within the woods. I remember something from the book. 'Start the fire when the music starts playing." I let go of my wrist and take a lighter out of my pocket that I stole from Brandon at lunch yesterday. I press down on the button and it created a flame. I crouch down again and ignited the wood on fire. Blood starts dripping from my wrist onto the grass. I let go and put the lighter in my pocket. I cover my wrist again with my other hand, I walk backward to go back with my friends. We all stand there silently, waiting for something to happen. I could see Allison getting tired of playing that instrument. I stare at the rose instead of my worried friend.

There's a loud roar in the distance. Everyone all looks at each other. I still stare at the rose. It suddenly turns into a moss green. I look at the water and stare. Waiting. A few seconds later, I see the water moving. He's here. A head emerges from the water. His blue and red eyes stare down at me. I stare back. He isn't moving now. The only thing we see is his eyes and up above the water. "W-What the fuck is that?!" Dave shouts.

"It's a prince!!" Brooke gasps.

We all hear the loud roar again but now it sounds like multiple beings. There's a huge bang that hit the Earth's surface, it felt like an earthquake, making us stumble on our feet a bit. A rush of wind came towards us, it was so strong it pushed all of us back. Only Brooke fell onto the grass, but the four of us are still standing, trying to keep our balance. That creepy head still staring us down, but our field of visions get covered up by fog. I hear a mischievous chuckle. I try to look around, holding back with my arms covering my face. I can't see my friends through this thick fog. I look back in front of me to see three giant figures in front of me. The princes are here. They were probably seven-feet tall. The wind stops but the fog is still here. The middle prince reaches out to me, it puts its finger under my chin and lifts my head up slowly. "My, My, what a cute little one," the figure said. Its finger was so soft yet so cold. "you want us to help you with something evil. Am I correct?"

"y-yes..." I reply.

"Hmm. Samantha Ray, now known as Carter Ray. What an interesting turn of events for you, " the prince says. He let's go of my chin and the other two back off into the thick fog. The prince that is here with me starts to walk around me, admiring every angle. "When you were a little girl you lived in a cabin in the woods. How convenient for us."

"How did you-"

"You started to kill small animals with your mother because she wanted you to learn how to hunt and how to defend yourself. But I guess you don't like using it now, huh?" He giggles when he says that. "But once you started killing the bigger animals, you wanted to kill something bigger. You wanted to kill a person. I couldn't believe that those thoughts came from a nine-year-old."

"Listen, I summoned you to help me make those thoughts come true, not to be told about my own personal background!" I shouted.

He stops in front of me, glaring me down. I glare at him back clenching my bleeding wrist. "Fine, I guess we'll start the fun." The prince snaps his fingers, a knife appears in my left hand while my right hand is still covering. "Attack." His figure disappears, four other figures appear in front of me. The fog lightens and I could see a clear understanding of the figures I'm seeing. I start to walk to one at my left, I sprint over to it and right when I was about to attack I noticed that they are holding something in their arms. It's Allison holding the accordion! I try to stop myself from getting any closer to her, I don't know what I tripped on but I fell face forward onto the grass and I slid on my side a few feet in front of Allison, tumbling a bit. Allison almost fell when she saw me but she started to limp towards me. "Oh my God! Carter, are you okay?!" she shouted in a worried tone. I can't believe she instantly knew it was me. All the other three figures start to watch in our direction to see what's going on. I notice that the fog clears. "Very impressive, you still got your skill." I hear one of the princes speak. I started to cry, "I'm sorry...." I whispered.

"Why are you sorry?" Allison questioned.

Circe, Dave, and Brooke rush over to me and Allison. "What happened to your leg?!" Brooke screamed. All of them start to examine the bottom half of her leg. My hands are open, my hand covered in blood isn't on my still bleeding wrist. The knife I was holding......

"I'm sorry Allison."

.......is in poor Allison's calf.
