"Excuse me, do I know you?"
He chuckled lightly and took his hand off of her shoulder. Eun Mi glanced at his other hand and noticed a pair of Ray-Bans shades that looked exactly the boy's from yesterday.
"Oh wait, I know you!"
Her eyes brightened and her finger subconciously went to her own lips.
"You were the one that spilled coffee on me yesterday. Lee Eun Mi, right? Of course I am, nobody can forget a name like that. Not when it belongs to such a beautiful girl." he smirked, shoving his shades in his pocket.
A tear fell from Eun Mi's eye.
"You....you jerk!" she screamed, shoving him away. "Was it something I said?" he asked cluelessly. Eun Seun quietly slipped away and watched from afar.
"July 19th, 2007. Remember that girl wiping out at these ramps?"
"Trust me, I save a lot of girls from ramps. 7 years ago? I don't remember that much." he shrugged, tapping his chin. "So that kiss in the hospital was nothing but a regular day for you? Is that what that was?" she asked, shoving him repeatedly until the edge of the ramp.
"Hey, calm down! Hospital kiss?"
That was the last straw. She shoved him as hard as she could, along with that memory from 7 years ago with him. His hand wrapped around her waist and pulled her down with him, sliding on his back with Eun Mi in his arms.
When they both opened their eyes, things were blurry. It took a while to register that their arms were still wrapped around one another. She let out a groan, but it was hushed by something else.
Not again.
Kai knew their lips were attached, and he moved them to kiss her deeply. Just then, he was ripped away from Eun Mi and pulled to his feet.
"What do you think you're doing?" two voices shouted behind him. He turned around to see the girl Eun Mi was talking to earlier, along with Kyungsoo. "Hyung, I was just -"
"Just what? Ruining my life again? I think you've done enough." Eun Mi wrapped her arm around his neck and secured a lock with her hand, sweeping his legs from under him and tossing Kai over her hips.
"You should know that I'm a black belt in Tae Kwon Do."
"How am I ruining your life? It was a kiss, you should be thankful." he scoffed, getting up with a pounding head. Kyungsoo put his hand on Kai's shoulder and pulled him away from Eun Mi.
"You don't get it, Kai. I was saving my first kiss for the person I was going to be with forever. But that person doesn't even remember it, and yet he stole my second."
He stopped dusting himself off and loomed at her. She was fuming and her hands were balled in fists. That furious look in her eye reminded him of a girl he once met. He picked that girl up in his arms and she refused to be helped by kicking and fighting back.
They were headed to the hospital.
It was as if everything at that moment was in slow motion. He reached his arm out and grabbed her wrist, roughly pulling her into his embrace. He sighed into her air.
He finally found her.
But the only thing that stood between them was reality. The reality that she had lost all feelings for him the moment he opened his mouth.
