Nick looked into siannas eyes and asked, "i need to know this....... Why did you cheat on me?"
"can we take this outside", sianna said. Then she took his hand and led him out.
One they were out in the lawns, far from sight, they finally talked.
"I never cheated on you-", sianna started but got cut off by Nick.
" what did I do wrong? I've been with you through all your ups and downs, I was always there for you, I never left you alone, I even showed you the place I go to when I'm sad or I need solitude, I let you in on my deepest darkest secrets, I mean we go back a long time. All I want to know is why not me? What was it that I lacked that he had? " nicks voice trembled, threatening to tear up.
" I swear I never cheated on you. I've been trying to explain but you never listened ", sianna pleaded.
While nick and sianna were having this argument, Caden was trying to record Irene and emerys plan on his phone. But all they did was occasionally laugh and keep dancing.
Just as Caden was about to give up, Irene whispered ," let's go to the lawns to review tonight's plan and then put it to action".
Caden felt great that he had finally found something and began following them. But brooke held his hand back.
"why do you keep looking over at them and now you're going after them? Caden tell me honestly.... what's going on?" she asked, trying now to sound frustrated.
"I'll explain on the way, but right now we have to follow them", he said, and pulled her in his direction.
Both of them walked out to the lawns and started talking behind a tree.
Caden and Brooke sneaked up behind them and tried to eavesdrop on their conversation.
They could faintly hear Irene speaking, ".... And then you go up behind her and turn her around amd kiss her. Don it like you mean it!"
"... And then you make shure that Nick's watching this..."emery continued.
" yes and finally after you release her I will make Nick kiss me...... Which I think he'll do spontaneously because something just happens to him when he sees another guy kiss his girl. It kind of is his turn on. ", Irene admitted." but it he doesn't I'll force him to and that's the last phase of our plan ".
" look here's what we're going to do... You grab Irene and I grab emery and we take them to the North side of the lawns, got it? " Caden said." ready, grab ".
Brooke and Caden grabbed both of the schemers and started dragging them towards the northside of the lawns.
They reached the lawns where in a distance they heard nick and siannas voices.
" you don't understand ", sianna says "i-"
"prove it, that you never cheated", nick said cutting her off.
"there's no need for you to say anything sianna!", a voice came from behind them.
Both of them turned to see brooke and Caden along with emery and Irene.
"what are you guys doing?" Nick asked horrified.
"you wanted an answer right?" sianna asked "well here you go".
"the truth is that these two here had been planning this all along", Caden explained.
"Emery wanted sianna all to himself. So, when he came here he went straight to Irene and they cooked up this plan in which they would photoshop a photo and make it look as if sianna and emery are together so that nick could breakup with her and Irene could get a chance with nick. "
" and that photo in the park with you and sianna.. Was that...? "Brooke asked.
" yes ", Caden said" why would you think I can do this to you? "
" wait so.... This was all some stupid plan of yours? ", Nick asked in disbelief.
" Yes. And it would have been a success if just you meddling people wouldn't jave interfered ", Irene replied." I would have had you all to myself ".
" uhh... Irene I think we have to apologise ", Emery said, then looking at sianna " I'm sorry. I know how much I've hurt you but I really really liked you since we were kids and.... It just happened. My jealousy got the best of me ".
" you have got to be kidding me Emery. After all this time you still care about her feelings?" Irene asked in disbelief.
Emery nodded his head. Irene untangled herself from Brooke's grasp and stomped back to the party.
" you were the reason I fought with her. It was you who were the culprit all along and I blamed her ", Nick said, red with anger. "I'm going to kill you", he whispered.
Nick caught onto Emery's collar but before ehe could hit him he heard a soft voice say behind him...
"He did what he did but... He was right about one thing. You didn't trust me when I told you I never did anything. You let go of your trust on me and you doubted me knowing that I -", sianna stopped.
"you know, I just thought that prom night would be the best night of me whole life. I would come here with my boyfriend and have the night of my life and most importantly tell him how I really feel about him but.... I guess dreams remain dreams", sianna said.
Nick listened speechlessly, knowing that he was the one who had screwed up.
With that she ran away to the from the gates where her brother was there to pick her up.
Nick ran after her but it was too late,she had left..... And little did he know he was not going to see her any time soon as she would be leaving for college next morning.
