My parents haven't enrolled me in the school here yet. I told them I'd rather take the online school but they said that's being unsocial.
Right now they're at the kitchen table signing papers and filling out forms for the school. I walked down stairs for lunch. It's Tuesday. If they finish the forms and hand them in today I would start next Monday. Yaaaaay......
I went past them and to the fridge. To no surprise they hadn't gone to the supermarket and there was no food.
I groaned and walked back upstairs. I laid down on my bed and decided to text Matthew.
Hey! I'm literally starving there's no food in my house and I need to eat!
He quickly answered.
Good! Because I need to ask you something? Would you like to go on a date with me today? A real date? A lunch date ;)?
That did NOT just happen! Matthew Lee Espinosa just asked me on a date. I read and re-read the text a million times. Then I remembered I had to answer him.
Yes!
I'm so excited!
Great! I'll pick you up in 30!
Oh my god! I only have 30 minutes!
I quickly got dressed since I already showered this morning and did my hair.
I wore a simple coral dress with white laced flats. I let my hair fall in curls.
I quickly rushed downstairs as I heard the doorbell ring.
I opened the door to see a smiling Matthew holding a rose. It was so cute! I took the Rose, hugged him, then thanked him. He wrapped his arm around my waist as I locked the door and we walked to the end on the block.
Then he pulled out a white bandana and wrapped it around my eyes.
"What's this for?" I laughed.
"I want this place to be a surprise." He said.
I normally wouldn't let someone blindfold me but I trusted Matthew with my life.
We walked me around for a good 20 minutes. When we finally stopped he slowly took the blindfold off to reveal a beautiful picnic on the top of a cliff that overlooked a beautiful lake and a flower meadow. I looked behind us to see a dense pine forest. It was like a movie. It was perfect.
"Wow. This is beautifully amazing." I said in awe.
Matt laughed and I followed him as he sat down.
He pulled out mini sandwiches and cupcakes. It was so sweet.
He had all different types of food.
Even a bunny came up to us at one point to try to steal some lettuce.
Our little picnic lasted about 40 minutes until Matthew stood up and walked behind a tree. He came back holding a duffel bag.
"Whatcha got there?" I joked.
"Bathing suits." He said in a serious tone. I looked at him like he was insane. He winked at me and pulled out a slutty little bikini and threw it at me.
I held it up, "I am not wearing this." I said. He sat down next to me and started to pull my dress off. "Hey Matt? What are ya doin there?" I said sarcastically. "Testing." He said mischievously. He succeeded with my dress and held up the bikini top to my bra.
He tied it over my bra. Then he removed my bra and without showing anything he was able to put my bikini top on for me. It was strange but sweet and weird but funny. I laughed and grabbed the bottoms and I went into the woods.
He did the same thing and he came out looking hot. I put my dress on over the bikini and he put all our stuff into the duffel bag.
We headed down to the lake to see Hayes, Nash, Mahogany, Madison, and Jack & Jack. It was some crowd.
Matthew makes everyone gather around as he gets down on one knee. Alot of things started going on in my head.
"Mackenzie, from the first day I saw you until now I knew in my heart that you were the one for me. I know what this probably looks like. But I'm not proposing to you on our first date but I'm asking you an important life changing question.
Will you come on tour with me?"
