I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Matthew Espinosa asked me to go on tour with him. Wow.
I nodded and he stood up to hug me.
Then he started walking towards the water with me wrapped in his arms. He pushed me into the lake and I dragged him in with me.
Soon everyone was in and we were having so much fun.

It's started to get late so Matthew took me home and we stopped by the door of my house.
I said good bye and kissed him on the cheek.
I walked inside house and up to my room.
I immediately sent a group chat out to Rose, Leah, and Andrew.

Hey! Guys! Guess what just happened o me! MATTHEW ASKED ME TO GO ON TOUR WITH HIM!! YAYY!!!

YASS you go girl! Did you ask your parents if you can go yet?
To Rose🌹:
Not yet but I'm sure they'll say yes!

What makes you think they'll say yes?
To Leah🌀:
I can pull the guilt trip. "You just made me over across the country and now you won't even let me go on tour with the boy I love!😭😭" that's how.

You got a big brain and a lot of hope, you know that?

Haha! Yeah!
I then ran downstairs and into the living room.
I sat down next to my parents,
"I have to talk to you guys about something really important."
They looked up from their work and my father took his glasses off.
"Yes Mackenzie? What is it?" He asked.
"Matthewespinosatookmeoutonadatethenaskedmeificouldgoontourwithhimsocanigo?" I said faster than I expected.
"What was that?" My mother laughed.
I took a depth breath in and out.
"Matthew Espinosa took me out on a date then asked me if I could go on tour with him. So can I? Please?" I said much slower.
"Yes." My father said promptly.
I looked at him in shock.
"Yes?" I repeated. He nodded his head.
"What, no lecture, no begging?"
He shook his head.
"You can go. You've been through enough already. You deserve it." I smiled so big. I hugged him and thanked him.
I ran back upstairs to text Rose, Leah and Andrew.

I waited for a reply and almost immediately got one

After we talked for a few more hours I decided to hit the hay.
I showered getting all the lake off me and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
