“Cool” I say running deeper into the forest. “Hey wait up!” She says flying towards me. I yelp playfully as my  feet turn to paws and my teeth turn to fangs. I sprint through the forest on all fours. I trip over  a trunk and go flying into the clearing.”Oof!” I say landing on my back,I go back into my human morph and sigh. I shake leaves out of my hair. Taylor lands beside me and lies next to me. “Nice landing wolf-boy” she says laughing. I sigh “I meant to do that” I say back. I put my arms behind my head and laugh at my stupidity. I feel a sudden wait on my arm and look over. Taylor lay there,eyes closed, with her head on my arm, A smile on her face.

I'm not supposed to have interest in any female outside of the pack,much less a witch. But for some reason I’m compelled to protect her, I have promised my self I would never let anything harm her.Today is Monday, I keep the thought locked in my mind every time this day comes around,today we would be going to the forest. I shake my self awake and stand shakily on the tree branch that I had made my home. I  leapt down and sprinted across her backyard. I jumped and landed  on her window ledge,I knocked and waited for her to come to the window. “ Awww already huh?” she said groggily before lifting the window for me to come in. I hopped through and landed soundlessly on her floor. “And your SURE your parents wont catch me and shoot me?”I say jerking my ears up to hear if her parents had woke up during my entrance.  “Positive,don’t worry so much would ya?” She says brushing against my shoulder as she headed towards the bathroom. “Here comes the long part…” I grumble under my breath as she picks up a brush. She rolls her eyes, and begins to workout the tangled blond/green mess atop her head. About an hour and a half later shes finally ready to go. I hop out the window and turn towards her once I land. I hold my arms out and turn my head to the side. “You better not drop me” she says sarcastically. She leaps out the window with her eyes closed. I catch her in my arms and hold her close to me. I gently place her back on the ground unaware of what I had been doing, she looks up at me the pink tint on her cheeks tell me she was blushing. I walk down the sidewalk,without saying anything. “What was that about?” she says from behind me. “What was what about?” I say back, “You hug me,…..then you just walk off?”she says shyly. I keep walking without a word until we reach the school. After the “homeroom” we go into our mathematics class and wait for our instructor to arrive. “So hey,your Taylor right?” I hear one of the people in the group say. I tilt my ears in the voices direction. “Yeah,why?” she replies “Well I was just wondering…if you weren’t busy at lunch today,if you’d maybe wanna-“ “Sure” she says happily. I tune them out after that, the conversation was beginning to make me uncomfortable. I spaced  out through the next two classes until lunch. I wasn’t hungry so I walked outside and climbed up a nearby tree. The alpha in me wanted to hunt him down and kill him but I knew I couldn’t interfere or else I’d be defying my clans code of honor and my restriction. I put my back against the base of the trunk and put my legs out in front of me. I hold my pride and try to doze off hoping it would take my mind off of what Taylor and that male could be doing.”Are you ready to tell me NOW?” I hear her ask from below me. I  snap awake, “tell you what?” “you know what”. I hop down and walk up to her. I grab her hand in my left and her shoulder in my right. “Does it matter?” I say gazing into her eyes. She sighs and grips my hand,but I don’t think she even realizes it, “I guess not” she says. She finally looks at our intertwined hands and blushes. “Oh…uh,my bad”I say letting go of her hand. She giggles, and stares at me. “Who was that?” I say looking at the guy that had been talking to her. “Oh,that’s Mike,hes in our math class”she says plainly. “I’m aware of that…” I growl staring at him, he looks from me to Taylor and glares back at me. I growl deep in my throat and begin to walk towards him. “Whats seems to be the problem?” I ask a foot away from him. He looks at Taylor,whose standing behind me, and back at me “Apparently its you”he says standing up and jabbing his index finger into my chest. I growl “ You better watch were you put that..”, “Guys..?” Taylor whispers behind me.  “Or what?”he says     pushing me, I grab his wrist and snap it back easily. “Agh!Crap man what the heck do you think your doing?!” “Wolfe!?”Taylor yells grabbing my arm. I blink and look down, was his wrist broken? My eyes go wide,”....”. I run and jump the school fence, I guess this is why I never went to school fights were always imminent. I run until I hit the forest clearing.

I howl at the top of my lungs not caring who hears.  “Wolfe?”she says standing next to me. I turn my gaze on her,”You okay?” she says slipping her hand into mine. I  sigh and growl low in my throat, not to threaten her but to let her no I was serious,”Please never do that again…” I say. “Do what?” she asks sitting beside me. I stare at her with cold eyes, “Never….try to make me jealous…”. I was afraid I had scared her so I released her hand and  pushed a stray green hair behind her ear.She grabs my hand and smiles”Whatever”she says onto my hand. I jump as I notice my tail erupting from between my legs. Taylor notices and asks me if I'm hungry. “Not actually its weird though....” I say realizing my wolf was trying to tell me something. I would of noticed whatever it was had I not been slightly distracted…She was wearing a green tank top that just barely revealed her bellybutton and the curves of  her hips,and shorts that cutoff at just above her thighs and hugged her skin like glue. “Hey who's the girl Mr.Alpha Dude”a husky male voice calls from the clearing. I stand up immediately pushing Taylor behind my back protectively. “She your mate or something? She sure doesn’t smell like one of us though but, you know that’s forbidden….” He says craning his neck to get a look a Taylor. I growl as 5 more emerge from the brush. “We’ll just take the girl and be going on our way” the first one says as their fangs erupted as they ran at me. I catch the first one by his shirt and manage to throw him back into the brush before the second one manages to sink his claws into my back. I howl painfully before turning to look for Taylor,where had she gone? I start to panic and morph at the same time. Before I knew it I was down on all fours, a massive indigo black wolf fangs bared and everything. I snarl viciously at the challengers warning them of there imminent death. One of them backs off a little. A tawny small male who seemed fairly new to the battle ordeal he was going through. The leader who had re-emerged from the forest back into the clearing snarled defiantly back at me. I stalked around to the point where I was flanking him on his left. I gave a violent snarl to let him know that he had one last chance to leave,….or die.

The leader nodded his head to the left to get my attention. I growl at him before turning to see what he was talking about.  The other three of his pack had cornered Taylor against a tree a rather husky grey male was slowly inching his way towards her,I had not intentions of finding out what his plans for her were. I lunge towards them before getting tackled by the leader.  He bites at my throat trying to tear it open and just barely misses. I kick him off and use my paws to pin him down. He bucks to try and get me off of him but fails. I  lunge at his throat,delivering the final blow.  I look back at Taylor to see the male had morphed back into his human form and was reaching for her. I couldn’t attack him with my wolf because he was in his human form and  was to  close to Taylor for me to hit him without hurting her as well. I run at him as I morph back. I reach him just in time to shoulder-check him and tackle him to the ground. My clothes had torn when I had morphed leaving me in nothing but shredded and tattered jeans and a ripped black t shirt. I grab him by his throat before lifting him to his feet. I tighten my grip around his throat until he begins to flail and gasp for air. “P-please we-we’re sorry please j-just let us g-go…” he squeaks out gasping for air.  I narrow my eyes as my wolfs face surfaces and melts into mine. “If you ever touch her again, I swear to God I’ll kill you…”I growl through my fangs releasing him and allowing him to crawl away.  The other two wolves growl at me thinking I was weak because I was in my human form. I sneer at them and growl back. They whimper as they back off. I sigh as my wolf relaxes its self. I stumble tiredly back to Taylor all of my energy drained  I fall beside her as my knees finally give out on me. “You okay?” I manage,she looks away from me and stares at something. “Tayl-“ I say before she cuts me off and throws her arms around me and burys her face into my chest.I snicker before hugging her back and gently nuzzling her with my chin.
