Taylors POV-

"Zayn, just choose!," I argued. "Well...I've never been to Doncaster before!,"He said, searching the street."Hey there's a Milkshake City!" "Let's go there then. It's not really a dinner but oh well,"I sighed. He pulled in, then ran around to get my door. I smiled. "Let's go, Kitten,"He smiled back, opening the Milkshake City door. "You know I never will understand why you call me that. It sounds so funny." I already knew what I wanted, but Zayn stood there and looked. I ordered a root beer float, and waited for Zayn. He was the worst at these type of things. I elbowed his side. "Hold on, hold on!,"He laughed. "Yeah, and I'll take a number three, with two extra shots of protein,"Zayn finally ordered. "Protein? Ooh someone trying to macho up?,"I teased. "Well..with auditions, I want some meat, and not just this,"He said motioning over his body. "Well, I happen to love this,"I said running my hand down his arm. "You know, you make me feel horrible, because here you are, getting all beefy, and I'm ordering a root beer float!" "Don't you even start Taylor!,"He said raising his voice. Our order was up, so I got up to retrieve them. "Oh whatever,"I said over my shoulder. I've always just had problems like this. I'm not doing it for attention, I just don't take compliments easily. I sat back down and Zayn continued,"You're perfect okay. Don't let anyone tell you otherwhise, especially yourself! You're not too skinny, but not AT ALL chunky, PLUS you have,"He paused. I knew exactly where he was looking. I crossed my arms, covering my chest. "ZAYN! Stop, we're in public too!,"I said flinging a little bit of foam at him. Okay I didn't intend for it to him in the face, but it did. "Ooooh! Look what we got ourselves here!,"Zayn said, raising his eyebrows. That's where it all went down hill. I swore I heard my phone ring, but I had no time to get it before Zayn fired back. Long story short, we ended getting kicked out of Milkshake City. A first for me getting kicked out anywhere. "Oh my God!,"I giggled, as we ran back to his truck. At exactly the worst time, I slipped on ice as I was opening the truck door. Two falls in one day! What's happening to me?! I shrieked and Zayn came running over, laughing even harder. "Hah yeah you're helpful,"I said watching, him looking down and laughing. "Here...haha..here,"He held down his hand. Zayn pulled me up, and wiped me off. He slapped my butt, and ran away fast, because he knew if he hadn't, he'd be getting it from me. We were in uncontrollable laughter, as he sped away, back for home. "I think that was the best, most unutritional dinner date I've ever had!,"He laughed. "Definitely, one of the most craziest things I've done in a long time!,"I agreed. My teeth started chattering, which broke the whole fit of laughter. "Oh, I'm sorry,"Zayn said, turning the heat on. "Yeah I guess from sitting in the ice for so long....,"I complained with a smile. "Maybe if people had better balance, while running.....and if they didn't start food fights, that makes them run in the first place.....,"He trailed off, eyes looking at the ceiling, with a sly smile. "Hey, you keep your eyes on the road," I snapped back. "What you mean like this?,"He said looking at me and stearing the wheel with his knees. "Zayn!,"I yelled, but before I knew what was going on, he had his lips on mine. It was a short kiss, that led to small pecks, on my lips, corner of my mouth, nose, jaw, then to my forehead. I closed my eyes. When I opened them, his eyes were back on the road, hands firmly on the wheel. "You're lucky we didn't crash,"I teased. "Oh come on. You know I'm a good driver. I've been doing things like that ever since I got my license,"He smiled. "You know, you never told me what was up with my cheesey nickname,"I prodded. "What? Kitten? I thought I told you when we first met, or should I say you rammed in to me, you were so scared, and innocent looking, just like a little kitten. I couldn't leave you alone, like a when you get a kitten, plus cats are kinda your thing,"He said. I smiled, feeling heat flood my cheeks. "See, there you go again. Even years later, you still do things like that to me,"He smiled, stroking my cheek. I kissed his fingers as they slid down my face. That's when I remember my missed phone call. I pulled out my phone. The number wasn't one I recognized. Small hope in the back of my head, hoped Louis somehow found my number. Highly doubtable, but oh well. He just seems like someone that you would have the best times hanging out with, a good person. Zayns phone rang, probably his parents wondering where we are. Perfect timing for me to listen to my voice mail.
