Chapter 6

Louis' POV-

Today was such a disaster. I still cannot get over how I acted with Taylor. The voice mail just topped it off. She probably will think I'm too much of a creepy to even call me back..*phone vibrates* An unknown number? I couldn't help the huge smile on my face, hoping it was her.

"Hello?" "Ugh..hi. Louis?,"She asked. "That would be me,"I laughed. "Good. I was hoping it dialed it right. Oh this is Taylor by the way." I chuckled. "Of course I know it's you! Anyways..about your school i.d., did you wanna meet up or something...? "That sounds great actually. Maybe you could come to my town or something...I don't have a car...can't really drive either,"She said nervously. I am aware of age gap. It's really not even an age gap when you think about it. Three years, big whoop. Most people are 4-6 years apart so.. "Okay! Maybe sometime this weekend? Where do you live?" "In Bradford. You can just come to the park, whatever you want,"She says. "Okay, sounds like a date!,"I said sneaking in the word date. "Perfect,"She laughs. "I am really sorry about today. I acted like an idiot....I bet when you got home, everyone was teasing you,"I sighed. "Number one, you are NOT an idiot,"She sasses,"Number two, no...I hid it pretty well."

Taylor's POV-

I didn't want to say anything about Zayn..I did just meet Louis, but I still feel like I could. After that, the conversation hit off. We didn't stop talking on the phone until almost twelve o' clock. Dad's going to be happy with that phone bill. We just started talking about other funny times we've had like the coffee incident today. His phone call definitely did cheer me up! We laughed almost the whole time too. Louis' really easy to talk to..I like that.

"OH MY GOD! HAHA," I laughed, holding my belly. "Hey don't laugh! I was just trying to be nice!,"He said, with a fake insulted tone. Louis started laughing too. "I can just picture you smiling, thinking you're doing such a good deed, holding open a door for the elderly,. Then BAM ,you smashing your face in the door as you pulled it open!," I laughed again. 

*Text Ringtone Goes Off* I had Louis on speaker, so he heard it.

"What was that?!,"He chuckled. "Just a text message, hold on," I smiled. I was actually a little annoyed we were interrupted.

Text from Zayn: "Hey :) I feel horrible about the ride home. I just wanna say I'm sorry. Have sweet dreams babe Xx"

I stared at the message. It made me feel better that he cared about what happened on the way home. The text wasn't bad, it was good actually, but it made me lose my desire to continue talking. I just wanted to lay down, and think. Louis was still on the phone waiting. I really do want ot finish talking with him, but...I just can't right now.

"Hey. Sorry about that, but I have to go,"I sighed. There was a pause. "Well okay....Have sweet dreams!" It was like I could hear his smile. I laughed,"You too! Don't run into any doors!" "Chh,"He laughed. "Night..,"His voice ringed. "Night, Louis," I smiled.

Louis really cheered me up. I had forgotten mine and Zayns argument. I mean I understand, it was one little arguement, there's nothing to be so upset about. It's just, lately, we've been arguing more. We've had them in the past, most definitely, even when we were just friends, but it's different now. He's so busy with work, and school, and family, which is good, but we just don't get as much time together. So, we're losing touch. He said he was going to text. I just forgot all about it while talking to Louis. Even getting a text message from him, reminds me of how things are changing. My eyes started to get filled with water again. I just need to either forget about it, or talk to him about. Okay, I'm wayyyyy to scared to talk to him about, so looks like I'm forgetting about it...for now. I pulled out my phone and texted him back.
