Copa. Happy inaccurate version

This oneshot is based off of the song copa cabana and is not entirely accurate. it just makes it so *spoiler alert* he doesnt die. and they live happily ever after.

"Congratulations Miss Lola Elizabeth. You've got the job." My new boss says."Thank you so much sir" I say with sincere gratitude. Its very difficult to get into the dancing world. Ive gotten turned down for many jobs. I finally came to this fancy club and auditioned to be a lead showgirl. After the lead got in a car accident they were pretty desperate. Even to hire a rookie straight out of college. Its called Copa Cabana and its one of the most suave clubs around.

"You are welcome Lola. I know this is your first gig. Dont make me regret it. " he says in a cautionary tone.

"Absolutely not sir. Ill make you proud."I say excitedly

"Alright. you start tonight. Go to practice at 3:00" He says in a stern voice. Though you can obviously tell he is a big teddy bear.

"Yes sir absolutely. Thank you again." I say with a smile. We say our goodbyes and I walk out of his office just waiting to call my best friend back home and do our happy dance. I call her immediately still in the club and start squealing and jumping up and down as I tell her the news. I turn only to see the cute bartender fighting a smile watching me. I blush and tell her I will call her later. I turn towards him

"Oh no, please dont let me inturrupt. Please, continue." He says with a smirk and a wink.

"I- You- Hm- Nobody was supposed to see that. I was just excited because I got the job for head showgirl." I say with pride trying to attempt to hide my embarrassment.

"Well then. Congratulations. My name is Tony. I work at the bar every night but sundays. And I cant wait...to see you in that outfit." He says with a sexy wink and walks away. I blush and freeze not knowing how to react. I walk away sure to call my best friend about this tonight.

I walk towards the stage ready to start my routine. I look over to the bar and see Tony shocked at my appearance. I smirk and wink as I walk by giving my hips a little extra swing glad have the upper hand. I turn to see his co-worker smack the back of his head to take his attention off of me and onto the customers. I giggle and get into place. I dance my heart out to show them that this rookie is the best dancer they will ever see. After my shift I go to change out of my revealing gold sequined outfit and these stupid feathers. I walk out in my yoga pants and form fitting work shirt i was practicing in earlier and digging my keys out of my purse when I run into a large muscular wall. I fall on my butt and look up at my wall. And of course it has to be Tony. He helps me up while I blush up a storm. He seems pretty flustered as well. Hmm. Interesting.

"Not so anti-gravity now are you?" he says with a smirk. I blush and dust off my butt.

"Well you know, those costumes do have powers to keep us on our feet." I say joking.

"Although you make them look better than any of those girls." He says backing me into a wall.

"Well. As fun as this is, ive gotta go home. Can't let the dog go hungry can we?" I say trying to get away from him to avoid embarrassing myself further.

"Wait, um I actually wanted to ask you something." He says acting like a shy schoolboy.

"Yeah?" I ask

"Umm. Well I'll just say it. Will you go out with me sometime? Actually im sure you could do better than me-" He stumbles out. I cut him off by going on my tip toes and kiss his cheek.
