I woke up a morning to the sound of my mom yelling at me to wake up and take the boxes to the truck. It has been 3 weeks packing and selling useless stuff in the garage sale just to move out of Connecticut. My mom got a job as a manager in some make up company in New York. I had to say bye to my good friends and my boyfriend, we broke up because of family issues. As we got in the car to follow the truck, my dad was trying to cheer me up with a lot of his bad jokes and puns. For example "I asked a teddy bear if he wanted to eat......but he said he was already stuffed". My mom stared at him questioning why she married him. They argue constantly, mainly because dad is very energetic and fun and mom is the complete opposite. While dad doesn't care what i wear, mom wants me to not show an inch of my skin in public. In the car they where arguing, so i grabbed my earbuds and started listening to Lana Del Rey, in the whole ride. i never agreed to move, but mom didn't give me a choice, and neither did dad unfortunately.
Mom just do the things she wants, i understand it's a big chance, but still, i need to approve. But of course, she doesn't care, no one does. So i'll be stuck in a city i never wanted to be in the first place. But whatever. All i thought about was the way i was gonna do in school or in social situations. i don't like crowded places, or places at all. The only place i liked was my room which i had to leave behind. I never thought we would move, it was all so sudden. Out of nowhere, we had to leave. New York is gonna suck.
Bye.
