The Sidewalk

Not human

I woke up in a glass in a kind of bed, but i had wires literally pierced everywhere, i couldn't move, or speak, i could only move my eyes around. I eyed the place i was in and i saw a girl next to me as well. She was black, her skin was so clear and i could see her long lashes. She looked pretty, but her eyes where closed, she had wires coming out of her brain and chest. Just like me. I felt a pain i couldn't describe. It was piercing my entire body like i was getting stabbed by a bunch of knives. An alien appeared by the door but then it turned into a human. It was old but steady. The man (or should i say alien) was now walking towards me. He looked at me with his pale white eyes and said:

 "Humans are incredible creatures"

He then grabbed my cheek and pierced another wire threw it, my blood was everywhere, dry blood and the blood falling from my cheek. The man left and closed the room and that's where the girl next to me woke up. Like me, she couldn't move or speak, but she looked at me, she had dark brown eyes. I felt like i wasn't going to get out of there in time. That i would just die here, trying to be a hero. If only i had stay in the basement with mom, i wouldn't be in this right now.

-Noah's POV- 

I told her to run, but of course she was to late to do so. As the thing grabbed her legs i threw my sword at it, but instead of hitting him, it hit a rock that hit Devan. I was yelling for like half an hour, until Cazelle slapped me. 

CZ: you bastard, instead of crying we could be figuring out where did they take her. 

N: What the hell? Why you gonna slap me for? 

CZ: Cause we are standing here doing nothing while she is probably being their dinner. 

I was mad and all, but she was right. There was a giant hole in the ceiling, where that thing took her. 

CZ: How are we suppose to get up there?

I didn't know either. So we stayed, thinking. I was already stressed by the fact that Devan could be in the mouth of some alien getting eaten. Just like what happened to my parents. My planet called "Dalmand", was getting attacked by these same aliens, all the people where getting eaten and kidnapped. I was 10 years old when that happened, my parents put me inside a capsule. It took a while for it to take me here. I could hear and see from a clear circle in the ship how the alien devoured my parents. Ripping them apart like a toy while they screamed in agony. Their blood splattered on my only way of seeing everything. I could hear them. Biting and swallowing them and the sound of ripped flesh has taken over my dreams ever since. My real name is Argo Olmendia, but in earth, these names aren't common so i completely change it. The only thing i have to remember my parents is that sword they put in the ship. 

Ever since that happened, i tried to not get attached to anyone since they can eventually leave or die. I care for Devan and that's the problem. I tried to protect her and now we are here, trying get her and doubting if she is still alive. 

Cazelle finally got an idea, she said we should climb it by the rocks and wires this hole had. We did. I just hope she is fine. She is all i have.

-Clara POV-

We walked to the other side of the building. There wasn't much, just dead bodies and rats eating flesh. We finally arrived to a stair case nearby and started climbing it. I still cant forget what happened in the car. Malcolm was rather..happy. He had a smile ever Miyu did that shit. Bridget has been by my side ever since, she was scared, I don't blame her, we could at any moment be a meal.   Miyu then told us to stop. 

M: i heard something. 

We were like over 400 steps already, so i guess we where already at the top. Miyu slowly opened the door. We entered and found Noah and Cazelle full of scratches and bruises. 

C: what happened to you guys?

CZ: we where climbing up a hole.  Are you okay Clara?

C: I'm fine.

B: Where is Devan? 

N: she was taken.

Malcolm: Wait she is dead?

Noah: We don't know, we are trying to find her. 

Then, aliens appeared. We started shooting at them and we ran separate ways to look for Devan. At one point, an Alien was behind us. We where running, but Miyu stayed behind

C: MIYU COME ON WHAT ARE YOU DOING!? 

Miyu raised her hand and pointed at the alien, she closed her eyes and the same thing that happened in the car was happening again, she was turning completely white and it was freezing. Then the alien stopped in front of her. It literally froze. Instead of going back to normal like before, she stayed the way she was. Her hair was white and her skin was a very light shade of blue and her rosy cheeks where dark blue, her pupils where white while the rest of the eye was black. Her lips looked dry and some how cold. She walked towards us looking like that. All of us where confused. All she said was:

Miyu: Stay at front. 

She didn't bother to answer any of the questions, but it didn't matter anyway. She wasn't from here obviously. 

-Miyu POV-

I'm not human obviously. I was sent from Irkand (a planet made entirely of ice). I was sent here because my people wanted me to stop the Armajn clan (the aliens attacking earth right now).

This clan go planet to planet to kidnap people to turn them into one of them. They are picky, so if you aren't fit for it, they will kill you. I can see the shocked look on their face while this is happening, i don't mind. I'm not the only one that isn't human here. Cazelle isn't human. In fact she is from a planet called "Fijuse". It is the least populated planet in my system, mainly cause of the high temperatures there. She wasn't sent here or anything. She only came to discover another place besides her tiny planet. Then she saw what was going on and decided to help. Noah comes from a destroyed planet. He is more powerful than people think. His kind are capable of destroy this whole planet by just a snap. But he rather keep it to himself cause he cant control his powers. I know his kind. I never talked to him, but i know him. 

-Noah POV- 

An alien was ahead us and one was behind us. I pulled out my sword and i looked at Cazelle. Her skin was light orange and her curly hair was now red. She wasn't human, i knew that. Her eyes were light yellow and she grabbed the aliens head and squished it, while i killed the other one. After a while, we found Devan, in a bed, full of blood, with wires in her head, with her eyes wide open looking at the ceiling. 

-Clara POV-

We walked and walked, and then Bridget screamed. We glared at her but then we relized in what position we where to make her react that way. We where surrounded by a circle of aliens and we didn't have any bullets. Miyu was trying to fight all of them, but they where to many. So it took for the rest of to fight with what we had. Our fists.
