A bright and hot sun peeked over the horizon at the small town of Bobsville, surprisingly, most of the Can-Do Crew were all ready to head out to do work. Bob gave their roles to his team, ending with Scoop chanting "Can we fix it?" After everyone else exclaimed "Yes we can!" they got into their vehicles and drove off to Sunflower Valley. However, Lofty was left behind, the first thing he noticed when waking up is that he was in his bed instead of being on the bathroom floor. He looked around suspiciously, wondering why no one else was in the room.

"Maybe they left without me." He thought to himself. Lofty went into the bathroom to get ready, but while washing his face he felt a sharp sting; he yanked his arm out of the running faucet water and saw the cut from last night. As he kept a sorrowful stare at it, memories started swirling around his head, reminding him on the purpose of his self-harm. The blue-haired man sighed deeply and endured the pain so he could get on with his day. After he was washed and dressed, he went outside to see if anyone was there.

"Only Pilchard..." He said somberly, staring at the light blue cat, which was sleeping under the table in the yard. Then, Lofty heard a phone ring. He threw his head up and went into the house which leads to Wendy's office. Surprisingly, Wendy herself was there doing paperwork and answering calls. She looked up at Lofty, greeting him warmly. He greeted her back and asked where the rest went.

"They went to do some fixing around Sunflower Valley. They left an hour ago though." Wendy replied, holding the talking part of the phone.

"An hour ago?!" Lofty exclaimed, "oh God, how come no one wakes me up for these things!?"

"It's alright, Lofty! You weren't needed for the job anyways, so you're fine!"

"Y-you sure..?"

Wendy nodded with reassurance, talking to the person on the phone again. Lofty let out another sigh as he walked out of the room. In the kitchen he saw leftover breakfast on the counter, although he wasn't hungry. He continued to walk out of the house and sat on one of the seats on the bench table. Lofty thought to himself, "I'm just jealous of Scoop and Roley because they have someone to love." He suddenly started thinking about the reasons why they would get together.

"Scoop likes Muck because they knew each other first and they work with diggers. Roley likes Dizzy because, well, they have the same interests; even their machines go perfect together!" He said to himself. "Maybe my future girlfriend might have similar traits to me, or... b-boyfriend..?" Lofty snapped out of his thoughts when he heard multiple machines drive up and park.

"Hello Lofty!" Bob said, getting out of Scoop's backhoe loader, "I see that you're up!"

Lofty weakly smiled at Bob, "Uh, yeah. Good morning, I think." His eyes were caught by Scoop, seeing that he was back to his normal self, although Muck was still pretty angry about the whole thing. The other three also greeted Lofty with a hello and good morning, which he greeted back, glancing at his friends, especially the taller red-head. When Dizzy started to tell Lofty all about what they did, he wished he could've come along with them.

"Say," Roley began, looking over at Scoop, "you never told Dizzy and I what happened at the bar." He stated with an interested tone. Suddenly the blond man remembered what happened that night, of course, so did Lofty. Scoop heaved a sigh and began telling the two what happened.

"...And after we came home we fought about it," He informed hesitantly, "but we stopped bickering and Muck agreed it was an accident because we didn't want Lofty to feel any more bad than he already felt." Scoop then looked over at his gloomy friend and faked a smile, "Although she's still a bit salty over it for some reason."

Then, Dizzy began to think, "Scoop, what would make her feel better?" She asked kindly.

"Well, I guess some time alone and maybe food will cheer her up, hopefully realizing that it was all unintentional." He said, looking at the girls' trailer.
