There was the sound of drums playing in the distance, the brunette found her self in the cemetery in New Orleans. She could smell the burning of wood in the air, the moon was up and the sky was clear of any clouds.

She began walking toward the sound of the drums, she came across a red headed girl, who she remembered had met with Celeste and another brunette. Both had their hair short, wearing white dresses. The two women didn't seem to notice her appearance and continued on their way to beating of the drums.

It was then she noticed the large bon fire, people all dressed in white surrounded the fire but having a safe distance, she could also see another black women dancing around the fire, Delfina found her moves to be beautiful and graceful, even though many would not see it. She joined the crowd of people and could feel everybody's magic, but she could feel the familiar black magic coming closer, she peaked her head around trying to find the source but had no luck.

The red head began to speak, Delfina turned her attention to the two women,

"Told you, every witch in the quarter is here, come to see the great Papa Tunde"

Those words sent a wave of confusion to the brunette, she did not know who this Papa Tunde was. She found out quickly when she felt the black magic again, this time closer and she could pin point who exactly was carrying it. This Papa Tunde was another she had seen with Celeste, but this time he had a white suit on along with a long snake wrapped around him, he also had two twins following him, holding a look of resemblance to Papa Tunde.

When Papa Tunde clapped, everything went silent, the drums stopped, the dancing lady stopped, everybody went still, their gaze went to the man in a white suit. Papa Tunde gave the large snake to the boys behind him, only then did she notice the mark upon their head that she gasped, she had studied those marks a long time ago.

Papa Tunde turned his attention back to the crowd of witches, he began speaking.

"Witches of the French Quarter, thank you for your welcome, it is good to be among people of the faith, I, too, practice ancestral magic, honoring those who walked the path before us, from them we draw strength, and you will need strength, for a great darkness is coming. The city your forefathers left you is now overrun, by pirates, beasts and vampires."

He spat out the word Vampires like it was poison, he turned back to the twins and grabbed the snake, the air was thick with tension, it was then Papa Tunde threw the snake into the fire, there was gasps of shock in the crowd, the hiss of the snake burning along with the fire soon died away. Delfina could not believe her eyes, now she understood why she felt so much dark magic around him, he practiced sacrificial magic.

The wind began to blow harder, everyone looked around, some confused, some in awe. Papa Tunde held his head high, not ashamed of what he had just done.

" I practice other magic, as well sacrificial magic. Channeling power from the lives of my offerings, I use this strength to vanquish my enemies, and I will punish your enemies for their greed. In return, you will accept my family into your coven"

The two twin boys stepped up, hands clasped together in front of them.

"And me as your leader"

Papa Tunde had a smile on his face, knowing he was going to get exactly what he wanted. His accent rang through the air, everybody can tell that he was going to change everything for the witches, and they were excited.
