CHAPTER 1
The country of Argadon. The most prosperous country in the past few decades of history. Ruled by the royal family of Argadon.
As you can see, this country has been under monarchy from the very start. It's the most effective way of managing a huge country full of resources.
It is also a powerful country in terms of military. They've been continuously recruiting talented individuals regardless of gender.
In this country, social standing is everything. You got to do anything you want as long as you are of noble family. Well as per commoners, they work their bodies off just to get to eat normally everyday.
My name is Jane. I live in the city of Milanscov far away from the capital.
In this day and age, people don't really believe that you'll get to see your life brighter as long as you work hard. Even though you work harder, you'll only get to see your tables having proper meals but as far as I'm concerned there is no improvement on that side. At least you'll get to have three proper meals a day is what encourages people to go on with the life that was thrown to them.
You may want to know what Milanscov is like. As I said, it is far away from the capital. The royal capital. A place where people with the highest ranking family lives. A place where even normal commoner cannot enter normally, you have to be smart and be genius to be able to work there.
That is how unfair our society is. They expect the people to be smart without proper education because let's face it - no one wants to teach a commoner with no future in this society. Personally, I think it's quite a rubbish thought made by the most arrogant law maker in the history of Argadon.
The good thing is - commoners who are smart enough to be able to enter the capital will be given proper education with the financial backed up by the royal family.
Where as the Milanscov is a little bit different from that prosperous city. Compared to the capital, Milanscov is covered with mountains and plains, and beautiful nature. And believe me, being far away from the capital helps a lot because Milanscov seemed like a hidden paradise behind all the mountains.
Unlike any other city with different types of hierarchy within, this city only has one noble, the noble family of Milanscov. They are known to be the one of the kindest because they don't limit the resources the people or commoners could possibly have.
Within that city, lies a humble mansion which the Milanscov's resides. Not as big as you would expect a mansion to be, but big enough for few people to live in excluding the house maids and workers' residence. It is big enough for people to build a huge garden containing a lot a different types of flowers which the people assume is for the family head's beautiful wife.
But they're wrong - not entirely. It is known to the public that the family has one beautiful daughter -or so the people says - that was never shown to the people outside nor the workers. Only those who knows the family closely was able to see her face.
