Sitting on the bus scrolling through warpeds official instagram i saw a picture of chris that was really well shot. I clicked on the picture to see who took it and it was summer!
I got so excited that i followed her immediately. I started going through her pictures, photography, goofy pictures of her dogs. Her mom and her. Her brothers and her. Her friends. Before i knew it i was in 2012 territory of her insta. I decided to exit out of instagram before I accidentally liked one of her older pictures.
I thought about the last time i saw her before this.
Senior year, graduation day. There she was. Cap and gown, heels and all black. As per usual for her at that time. She smiled largely at her mom and brothers while they took pictures of her.
She waved slightly at me before i turned away. I couldnt be caught dead talking to her. Atleast not at that point. Listen, i know i know its super douchey to not only let her be bullied but take part in someones bullying as well.
Listen, ive changed. I feelt awful for it now but i was a kid. Ill apologize to her now though, because atleast maybe she wont have that chapter of her life open still.
Yeah vinny... thats totally why you want to talk to her. Not because you think shes super cute or anything.

I woke up to the notification that summer followed me!!!! Not that its a big deal but its making me giddy. I mean afterall shes the total girl next door and... just.. perfect. How did i not realize this before?
I walked out to the lounge area and sat down next to ryan.
"Did you see these shots?" He asked pointing to his phone
I nodded and chuckled
"Hm?" He asked
"I went to highschool with her. She grew up two doors down from me. I was... kind of her best friend for a while" i said
"Oh. Weird. Why didnt we meet her when she took pics of us?" He asked
"Because i also... kind of dropped her once the cool kids decided i was good enough " i shrugged. Extremely embarrassed.
"Damn.... we would have hated you in highschool" ryan said
"Probably" i shrugged again.
I slid my phone into my back pocket before walked off the bus

Summers pov
I followed vinny back today. I thought it might make me grow the balls to finally ask "why" and tell him how horrible that made my life for years.
I then got dressed and decided to go to Pittsburgh for the day to meet up with my tattoo artist and also get coffee with my friend Eerie.

And walked out. When i got the the coffee shop eerie wasnt there so i decided to order while waiting on him.
I was looking around the shop waiting for the customer infront of me to be done when i heard someone say
"Hey! Photographer girl"
I turned around with furrowed brows. Confused and slightly flattered
"Uh hi?" I smiled awkwardly with a small wave while i put my hands in my back pocket
"Im ryan from a band you shot the other day, this is my drummer vinny" he said with a smile
"Oh yeah, nice to see yall again" i said with a smile.
I turned back around and ordered my coffee. Eerie ended up stumbling through the door about five seconds later (he was a clumsy boy)
"Hey man" i said handing him his coffee. I felt eyes on me as his towering frame hugged me.
We sat down and began to chat, i was zoning out because i couldnt stop thinking about why i keep seeing vinny.
"Hey question, why the fuck do those guys keep starring at you?" Eerie whispered.
I leaned in closer "i dont know but its fucking weird" i laughed
He chuckled back before sipping his coffee
"You sure look like a goth kim possible today " he said.
"Shut up" i giggled.
We chatted some more for a minute before my neck got overly hot and i had to pause before i got irritated.
I began to tie my hair up but being as my hair is curly and thick my hairtye snapped and landed on the floor. I couldn't see where it went , but eerie quickly told me it was behind me.
I leaned over to grab it and when i looked up vinny was starring at me with a slight scowl on his face before quickly looking away.
I decided that was enough of his eyes so i told eerie we had to get out of there. We tipped the barista and then walked out. We stood by eeries car for a moment talking when ryan and vinny walked out.
"Hey photography girl" ryan said again as they approached us
"Her names summer, for the record" eerie chimed in
"Summer eh? " ryan smiled sweetly "thats pretty. "
"Thanks" i said "people use to call me bummer so you can call me that too" i said.
Vinnys face turned completely red and then he looked down
"So listen, im having a bit of a party tonight. Sort of a bbq " ryan said
"Its literally warped bbq" vinny said
"WHATEVER" ryan said
"Anyway so this bbq , you should swing by " ryan said
"Okay. Sure " i replied
"Cool, this is my number" he said, suddenly i got an airdropped screenshot of the notesapp with his number in it "and my name is ryan. Ill put you on the list, summer" he said and smiled
"Hit on her right in front of me why dont you" eerie said
"Oh um sorry..." ryan said him and vinny both looked sort of saddened by this
"Im fuckin with you ryan" eerie said with a raised eyebrow.
Ryan awkwardly chuckled.
"It was nice seeing you both again" i said with a smile before getting in eeries car.
God... if i go tonight is this going to be like vinnys 17th bday all over again?
