Chapter 4

Summers pov

Its been two and a half months since ive seen the boys and more specifically vinny. We facetime everyday for a good few hours. Usually tj or ryan will steal his phone while we're facetiming to show me silly things or just randomly talk about stupid stuff. Today tho, is the day they all come home.

While vinny was gone he had me pick up a key from his parents house to take care of his place so i decided to surprise him.

I spent all day cleaning and making sure his entire house was spotless. I made him dinner too.

I sat on his couch and waited for him to come in the door and a few moments later he did

"Summer?" He asked. Clearly exhausted

"Hey" i said with a big smile

"What are you doing here?" He chuckled

"I decided to surprise you with a clean house and a warm dinner " i smiled proudly

"Foreeal?" He smiled back

"Mhm!! Look" i said sticking my arm out to his living room and kitchen

"God this place is spotless..... thank you so much" he said hugging me

I hugged him back a little harder. He was warm and smelled incredible.

"So whatre we eating?" He said

"I made you baked ziti with homemade garlic bread and some red wine" i smiled again proudly. I couldnt contain my excitement

"Oh fuck yeah" he said sliding his back pack off his shoulder and running to his table.

I giggled whilst i followed

"This is romantic as shit" he said while taking his third or forth bite "and this... this is the best ziti ever"

"You flatter me. Dont go fallin inlove with me now" i giggled

"Shit i mean ill try" he chuckled.

We laughed and talked while we ate and pretty soon i decided i was gonna go home.

"Thank you. For everything. This is the nicest thing anyones ever done for me " he said sincerely with a bone crushing hug.

"Youre welcome vin. Now go to sleep you look exhausted " i said while still in the embrace.

He traced his fingers up and down my spine which made me melt into him a little more.

He got close to my lips, his were centimeters away from mine.

"Goodnight summer" he said while closing his eyes and letting go of me

"Your breath smells like garlic" i whispered.

"Damn. That was supposed to be smooth as hell too" he chuckled, ruffling the hair at the back of his neck.

"Goodnight vinny" i giggled before leaving.

When i got home i could finally breathe again. Woo chile he makes me so flustered.

I took off my makeup, brushed my teeth, showered, and put on a big tshirt before getting into bed.

I checked my phone and saw vinny had tweeted me

"Everyone go give @ summerine some love for cleaning my entire house, and cooking me dinner as a welcome home from tour gift. Shes def wifey, thats a bet"

I quote tweeted it with "you deserve a clean house and good food. Im glad u liked my gift 💕"

Then came the influx of fans spewing hate at me. Calling me a whore and saying that vinny could do better.

Im literally not even dating him...

I sighed and decided to lock my phone and go to sleep.

When i woke up in the morning there were thousands of tweets basically hating me and one from vinny

"Yeah, no to clarify summer and i arent dating but even if we were it wouldnt concern my so called "fans". Fuck off with that shit "

I quote tweeted it with a shrug emoji. A few moments later i got a call from ryan asking to hang out.

I of course said yes and within the hour he was over.

"So i have a question" he said

"Shoot" i said throwing a water bottle up in the air and catching it

"Are you and vinny... you know... i mean do you.... ugh... do i ever have a chance?" He asked.

I giggled a bit. "Maybe some day ry guy" he said

"Its just because chris and vinny already have a thing for you and so do i and its confusing " he said

"Well luckily for you chris isnt my type. Unluckily for you vinny is exactly my type. " i said.

He sighed. "It was worth a shot right?"

"Of course. " i smiled.

A few hours later ryan left and i decided to go on instagram. Where i had a dm from a random girl. Now i usually dont answer dms but i was drawn to it.

I opened it and it read

"Listen i know you and vinny have a thing. I would advise u though to not date him. He'll hurt you the same as he did me"

"Im sorry to tell you but vinny and i gave been friends for most of my life. We're not together. Thank you for your concern tho " i replied.

I had a sick feeling in my stomach. If vinny and i ever dated would he hurt me? Did i blow off ryan for no reason?
