After the deluge I

The sun had set for ever

everything was over,

no man,no life

only death loomed dark and wide

slowly engulfing the planet

breathless she lay,

not a drop of water to drink

not a grasp of greenery to be seen,

her life blood had ebbed away,

her gardens had withered away

only death loomed dark and wide.

Years later:

A little plant,

it grew,

her rivers were filled with joy

the first plant sprouted,

her lands were furnished with flora

And once again a little ray of hope

spread its light.
