Daniel fidgeted in his seat due the over-flowing excitement and nervousness coursing through him. His bus was about to reach it's destination from where he would meet up with Rosaline and go to his new home. The regret of running away and leaving his mother behind to carry all their burden kept creeping into his mind but he tried to ignore it and cover it up with the thoughts and ideas of his new beginning.

As he got out of the bus after waiting patiently for the horde of people to leave, Rosaline came in view waving her arm enthusiastically at him. He smiled at her feeling slightly at ease but that's when the extra characters decided to give their input.

'She's so pretty! I'm jealous!'

'Her clothes are branded and she is gorgeous! Is she an idol?'

'Who is she waving at? Can't be that weird fat creep.'

'Is that an angel? Is this God telling me that I should repent for my sins?'

'No Dave, you're just high.'

Daniel frowned at this thinking that this was a bad idea as everyone would just make fun of her but he was not able to contemplate his entire existence over this simple matter and waste time as Rosaline came up to him and embraced him gently.

"I've been waiting for you Hyung! Do you have all your luggage because if so we can head to your new home! It's not far from the station so walking there should be fine." Rosaline explained and smiled warmly when Daniel nodded at the fact that he did indeed have all of his luggage.

She guided him away from the station and through the streets; ignoring the comments and staring from other passerby's. Rosaline and Daniel engaged in small talk and Rosaline enlightened him about the city and it's many facilities all the while skillfully avoiding the topic of where she lived and of her side of the family.

"Okay! Now you have to close your eyes until I say so!" Rosaline instructed and Daniel seemed confused as to why but not wanting to ruin her joyful mood, he complied. Rosaline then grasped his hand firmly and led him to his new home, careful to keep him from running into any pole or wall.

"And... Here we are! You may open your eyes now, Hyung." Daniel did as told and his breath left him once more, only this time his soul followed suit but was pushed back into him by Rosaline.

"N-no way... T-this is... Wow." Daniel stuttered trying desperately to pull himself together. Rosaline noticing his hesitance frowned before gently dragging him towards the small house.

"Come on, I'll give you a tour." She said softly, trying to ease his nerves. The house, to put it simply, was beautiful. For Daniel at-least. True to Rosaline's words, it was a simple house but for someone that had basically grown up in a shack, it was everything. It was a single story house with two bedrooms, each bedroom having a separate bathroom. To the right side of the house was a well-kept, neatly trimmed lawn and inside to the right of the first bedroom was the kitchen with three of it's sides surrounded by counters. The main lounge/living area was quite open and everything was furnished but casually as Rosaline wanted to make it comfortable and familiar for Daniel.

"This is perfect." Daniel muttered as tears flowed down his cheeks. He ugly cried in gratitude of Rosaline for giving him such a wonderful home causing Rosaline to sweat-drop as she tried to calm him down. After helping Daniel settle in. which wasn't hard as he barely had any luggage, the two decided to go to the main city and get Daniel a haircut as he really did want to start anew.

The two walked to a local hair saloon and let's just say, the journey wasn't the most pleasant one. Almost every extra character that passed them complimented Rosaline and insulted Daniel in comparison with her. Thankfully, Rosaline was the only one who noticed this as she deliberately kept talking to Daniel in order to keep him distracted.
