Chapter 25 - The Vampire

Allen suddenly leans back slowly. His body tilting back like a rag doll. He had a wide crooked smile that seemed wrong on Allen. Like they were staring at a different person. Allen's hair fell away from his eyes revealing a pair of amber eyes. Just like the noah.

"Good Mor-ning~"

Rin and Yukio stared in shock. Yukio tenses up. Every hair stood on end. Rin takes a step closer. Timcanpy flies up and sits on the top of the piano.

"Allen... what's going on?" Rin questioned confused. 'Why is he acting like that? What's wrong with him?' His mind questioned.

Amber eyes looked over to Rin. A dark chuckle escapes the boy. "I'm not Allen."

"Are you a demon? Daivoluli?" Bon barked.

"It can't be... Daivoluli is gone..." Konekomaru said softly. They all saw the soul float away.

"And it can't be any of the other souls! They are all here." Shiemi said holding up the Lantern plant.

Bon tenses up and takes a step closer only for Tyki to put a had up to stop him. The noah had a serious look on his face.

"Don't come any closer." Tyki warned.

'Allen' sits up. His fingers slide across the piano. "What's wrong Joyd? You think I'm just going to kill everyone? How ungrateful. Even after I played for you." He hums.

"Joyd?" Konekomaru repeated confused.

"What are you talking about?" Kamiki barked.

"You're a hard person to predict." Tyki remarked in a neutral tone.

Yukio armed his gun and pointed at Allen. He takes a few steps closer.

"Yukio! What are you doing?!" Rin exclaimed.

'Allen' turns his head to Yukio. That strange smile still on his face. He chuckled softly.

"You don't have anything that could hurt me, exorcist." The boy chuckled. He gets up and stretches as if he just came out of a cramped box. "Ah, its been too long since I've had control. Allen doesn't seemed to be hurt though, hmm... something must be up with the seal."

"Allen what the actual f*ck?!" Rin barked running closer.

"Rin! Don't come any closer to him!" Yukio barked. 'Allen' lifted his hand up. As if telling him to stop. Rin grinds to a halt.

"Not Allen." He says lowly. Amber eyes stare back at Rin. He points to the glowing orb in his hands. "That is though."

Rin froze. He looks down at the warm pulsating ball in his hand. The soul Daivoluli gave him.

"... Allen?" He pokes the soul. It ripples and heats up a little. It was like he could feel a heart beating in his hands.

Yukio didn't take his eyes off 'Allen'. He takes a step closer.

"If you're not Allen, who are you?" He asked cautiously stepping closer.

"Hm... just someone from Allen's past." He shrugged.

Yukio's frown deepens. What is talking about? Then it hit him. The reason why the Black Division wanted Allen, Allen's secrets, why he knows the older noah, his Master's connection to the Noah family and Mesphisto's connection to all of this. It all suddenly clicked into place.

"... Allen's past strikes up another agreement that I have with someone else." Mesphisto admitted. "Before I became an exorcist."
