Forgotten Dreams
What are these forgotten dreams?
These wondrous schemes that lead our hands
To scribe such verse that only angels have heard
Such imagination precedes the grand
Compelled are we to share these realms
Of ogres of princes, of damsels of spells
Court jesters laugh in their grated cadence
While the heroes and heroines find balance in love and hatred
What are these forgotten dreams?
The paths of the morrow and the future of our language
Crafted by fingers still exploring its flow
Beauty forms with each keystroke
Finding a way in each new story
We carve the path to heralding glory
We take down the dragons before we can fall
And find happiness in the worlds we've created for all
